have a safe trip goat goddes. I too am still in the planning  stage- have the houses cut out, an idea I had to rethink due to a lack of supplies, after a quick refresher on my parther's desired elements and I think I will be good to go

Now when you say "decorated front and BACK" I am wondering...How decorated? I thought since they pretty much lean up against a wall or on a shelf the back doesn't have to be as heavily decorated on the back? Also, when you say, "must be able to stand up on its own without flopping over" do you mean it should have feet to hold it up or is it okay to just have thicker material that easily leans on anything to hold itself up(against a wall or ceramic skull perhaps lol) Huh Tongue I'm just trying to clarify these so I don't piss my partners off and mess up!

NO feet are not necessary, Your houses should be able to stand without flopping over like a single sheet of paper would- you could use foam-core board, cardboard, balsa wood etc- just make sure you use a strong enough base that your embellishments don't cause it to buckle or bend.

As for the back,  usually you put your name, the swap and the date and maybe one or two little embellishments

thanks teag - yes just as she said
just finish off the back so if the edge shows it's nice - don't have to do much at all. Smiley
