I claim kookaloo_starr for some yarnia artwork.

1/0/0

Okay, it's getting closer and closer to Christmas, so I am getting excited! I have a board for "christmas swaps", feel free to craft from that, as we threw out ALL of our christmas decorations when we moved! I am adding some gifts to my list that I would like some help with, so please feel free to claim those! (I know I like crafting more for the craftster member, I dont know if anyone else is the same way)

ABOUT ME:
I am 25 years old, and I live near St. Louis, MO. I have a 2 year old daughter, and a boyfriend of 4 years. I go to school full time for Graphic Design with one year left. I am very crafty and don't stick to a particular method, so it's hard to pinpoint my expertise. I am an intermediate crocheter, I paint, draw, sculpt, assemble, yada, yada. I am always looking for sewed items, as that's the one crafting method I havent tried yet.

For my Pinterest, go here: http://pinterest.com/breegy/
For my WISHLIST Pinterest, go here: http://pinterest.com/craftsterbreegy/
For my wists go here: http://www.wists.com/breegy

Likes:
I like chevron, stripes, india inspired designs, bold shapes, and antiqued designs/styles. (I have an album.)
I like bold, dark, jewel, and fall tones. My favorite colors are coral and mustard yellow.
Owl anything!
Alien anything! (the little green guys, not the movies)
Lavender, Hippy, and Coffee scents
Dangly earrings
Everything nerdy
Turquoise (the mineral, not particularly the color)
Anything wearable and leather (I'm a leather jacket and combat boots kinda girl)
Anything from the following fandoms in ALWAYS welcome: Star Wars, Star Trek, Firefly, Merlin, The Guild, Supernatural, Harry Potter, or Community.

Dislikes:
Purples, neon colors, blues.
Useless, cluttering stuff.
Fruit scents and minty scents
Anything super girly
Any design you'd find in a grandma's house. Butterflies, asian influences, dragonflies, realistic flowers, pretty much anything that goes along with that "peace, unity, and love" trend. Although, I DO enjoy tie-dye in dark colors.
(if you're unsure, just ask. Cheesy)

I have no allergies that I know of, and hopefully I don't find out about them from your swaps!

A stuffed turtle. This can be crocheted, knitted, or sewn. I have several examples on my pinterest. (inspired or exact)

I claim Breegy for a set of Yo Gabba Gabba nesting dolls

2 (and 1 from OWS96)/0/0

Hi all!  I am 31, I live in Texas (USA), and my household is me, my husband, and our two puppies.  We do have lots of family, including 10 nieces and nephews (one is on the way!).  I am a freelance writer working with non-profits across the country and my husband is a teacher.  I have a host of chronic pain conditions and spend 98% of my time at home so having things around that bring me joy is critical.

I am participating in the OHLS so I have a whole Pinterest with gift ideas (some of which I already had) here: http://pinterest.com/j4192/boards/   - the only thing I ask you not to do there is the board entitled For Me to Make!  As claims are made, I will make every effort to remove the item from the boards as soon as possible!

I *love* surprises - if they're for me.  If they are noted as a gift, please let me know so I don't plan something else!   Smiley

Likes:  Bright colors, damask, argyle, Whedonverse (except Dollhouse - just can't get into it), Harry Potter, Psych, The West Wing, my husband (seriously I love romantic stuff but only if it's personalized to he and I like our names, anniversary, etc), modern, cusswords, and our puppies

Dislikes:  Earth tones, too much orange, Bible verses in crafts (no offense!), spiders, Fibromyalgia, platitudes, creepy stuff like old school circus acts and kewpie dolls, and paper crafting (as in, I like when other people do it since I hate doing it myself)

When I say that I'm really open to lots of different things, I mean it.  Have an idea?  Go for it.

No major allergies but if there are any, they will be noted below.

I am totally good with a surprise from my Pinterest or Wists:
I also have a wist http://wists.com/rockmygypsysoul and a pinterest (which is where much of this comes from) http://pinterest.com/lutmerjm/swap-y-stuff-i-wish-i-could-do-that/ and those are totally free game.

Plus if you just think of something, especially something for the guys, that's awesome, too!

I claim rockmygypsysoul for a bunch of butterfly punch outs!.  This is my 2nd claim this round.  (2,0,0)

Hi, all!  Im Tracy from Idaho, USA.  Thank you in advance to whoever chooses to claim me.  My hubby and I have two college-aged boys and live with three furry family members a 17 year old Australian Shepherd, a 12 year old Sheltie, and the spoiled rotten baby-dog a fivish year old mini Aussie.  We are a non-smoking home.  We have no allergies though I might as well have a vegetable allergy.  Our boys both go to Boise State, so they are close by and often come home for weekend projects and dinners.  The oldest is currently restoring a 1980 Jeep CJ5 and the younger one races Mini Stocks at the local circle track so there are always projects to be worked on.  We own a trucking company and are huge Boston sports fans so vintage jeeps, Peterbilt trucks, Red Sox, Bruins, and the Patriots are all great unconventional theme ideas.

I am partial to neutrals and rustic dcor, though a splash of happy color is always a welcome addition to any room.  I prefer fun functional items over knick knacks.  I am an organization junkie.   I prefer fresh, clean scents like mint and citrus to soft floral scents.  Im partial to silver over gold when it comes to jewelry.  I mostly work with fused glass, though I am learning to be better friends with my sewing machine and I love to learn new things currently grabbing my attention are metal stamping and soap making.
I also have a list going over on the Ongoing Holiday List Swap, so feel free to check that out, too!

I claim Glasskicker for a baby changing pad

2 claims, 0 being shipped, 0 received

About Me: My name is Laura and I live in Maryland with my husband, 3 kids, a dog, a cat, a rabbit and a box turtle.

For most things, I would prefer items inspired by my pinterest instead of exact duplicates.

I am a stay-at-home mom and a writer. I love cross stitch and embroidery and I have a huge wall set aside for hoops. It has had many beautiful additions from swapping, but there is a smidge of room left to fill. I am a huge fan of Firefly/Serenity, steampunk, and the color blue in all shades. Most rooms in my house are white or beige with blue accents, my living room is pale green. I need some color. I'm trying to make our house feel something like a beach cottage (even tho we are about 30 minute drive from the Chesapeake bay) but the house has more of an overstuffed, cluttered, lived in feel.

I claim Averia for a passport holder!!

This is my first claim
none has been sent
none has been received

Hello there !!
Im Tammy.  Im 40 and im married to a great man and mom to three handsome boys in Northern California. I moved here from OH and love it!! We purchased our first home and are thrilled!!  I like to sew, quilt.  I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit.  Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well.  I am allergic to nickel.

Here are my wishes
Anything off my wist list is great!!

Im looking for unwanted rock concert tshirts!!  80s hairbands a plus!!!  rock, hard rock or metal!! !

New items
pair of black leg warmers (for hubby) or/and a red pair for me!! crochet or knitted ~~claimed for my pair!!!  thanks!!!

Mediums (more can be found in my list  Grin)
~~Jewelry (chokers, bracelets, earrings but please no nickel posts)
~~Aprons!!  Even though I sew them I would love to see what others come up with!!
~~My MIL is a bingo fanatic!!!  A bingo bag or a nice seat cushion would be great for a gift.
~~New purse
~~Hand warmers Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.
~~Crazy Quilted Purse.  Or any purse made by you!!
~~Regency or Victorian era Reticule  (have received but more are always welcome here!!)
~~Petticoat (cotton or cotton blend please) either knee or ankle length with some fullness to it as I like poufy skirts !! I actually wear these a lot!! (Im 5'5 email for length) (received one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)
~~I would love some soft wool socks!!  Size 7 feet  Or a pair of socks with eyelet lace sewn around the cuffs (remember to stretch the sock a bit or it wont fit  Grin)
~~I have a weird obsession with knitted cuffs!! I love them!!  Chocolate brown, red.
~~ Anything that can help me decorate my Victorian inspired sewing room
~~ Would love a first aid kit that I can keep in my car.  Can be of any medium just as long as its a bit "fun" to look at and have. After all first aid is bad enough!!   Something really creative (thats why i asking.  I cant think of anything lol)

Im also looking for a sign that says "Please no solicitors or religious groups"  I have people of one kind or another knocking at my door constantly and it makes me rather uncomfortable.

Crafted Items~~

KNITTED AND CROCHETED

I love this shawl and I am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/  Im not picky about color.  Would be just happy to even have one.

SEWN

**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho.  This is basically what it is)  Here is a link to the pattern http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg  and here is an example of what it looks like http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm Measurements will be provided.  Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards.  I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects.  (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern.  OR If someone with any drafting kills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)

Primitive Raggedy Ann doll (An example is in my wists) (Kookaloo Star sent me a lovely one but im going to leave this here cause im in love with these and would love a collection of them.)

Victorian caplet.  At least waist length please email for length.

Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed.  Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.

I would love some handkerchiefs. Monogrammed with my initials would be nice too!! (received more is welcomed)

Victorian slippers.  This pattern is from 1864
http://www.victoriana.com/VictorianShoes/victorianslipperpattern.html

Im looking for special kind of apron for my husband.  He cooks the eggs at breakfast time and is a ninjitsu martial artist.  I would love an embroidered apron that has a ninja/martial artist holding a spatula in each hand and says "Egg Master" underneath.  Fabric and colors are open as long as its durable and holds up.

Other Crafts~~~
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye).  Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!!  Or soap supplies/kit as I would love to learn how to make my own.  Plain Pre-made soap bars (cold press i think they are called) that are ready to have scents, colors, herbs ect melted and added in are appreciated too as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house.  <USA only>    Sad

Room sprays

Bath bombs.  Also jars of bath salts would be fantastic as well. Im good for now!! Thanks!!

Im looking for some scented oils.  I would rather these be handmade or from specialty shops and not from stores like joanns or hobby lobby ect.

Hand crafted candles are great too. Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like).  Im also interested in the scented candle chunks that you can melt and scent your house with.  I have received some but always appreciate more!!

Whimsey jar are really fun!!

Im loving the moon jars!! Would love to have one!! (babalina sent me two, hubby wants more lol)

Im looking for a serving tray that I can bring snacks from the kitchen to the living room.  Asian or Victorian influence a real plus.  Ive seen some nice ones made from frames (glass removed)

Im also looking for a picture frame.  about 1.5 inches or more wide/thick on the sides.  What I would like is a thin wooden back fitted to it. I dont need the glass for it.  An old vintage frame would be preferred for this.  Im going to use it as a center piece tray for candles (if you can visualize it will lay flat on the table) I can take a pic of the pic in my book if you would like to see my inspiration.

Shower curtain.  Victorian style please!! Please contact for colors.

My 18 year old loves Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas so anything with him on (appropriate for a guy) would be fantastic

Handcrafted Jewelry with Victorian influence

Im looking for a table runner for our new table we recently purchased.  Looking for something, of course Victorian style as well.  Measurements can and will be provided.  Want something rich looking but affordable to make!!  Also looking for new fabric dinner napkins (18").

~~Supplies~~

Sewing items~~ Anything related to sewing is welcome!!  Trims, fabric, thread ect.(Gently used too)
Im also interested in any older sewing supplies as well from antiques stores and such (I have a tracing wheel i bought for $4 so they can be affordable).  Patterns (Burda Mag, Modern, Historic and Historic inspired too)!!  I need envelopes with a size 14 & 16 included in the envelope for dresses and tops and a 16 for skirts.  Thanks!!
Vogue~~ .. .2884...2968...1239 ... 8352...8003,,,v1178,,,v1172

Purse supplies of all sorts (handles, magnetic snaps, rings ect).  Silver Victorian clasps would be great too (can be found at Hancocks).  I desperately need some magnetic snaps!!

Scrapbooking items  (trims, paper, stickers anything!!).  Im also looking for some things like brads, ribbons, fancy paper, scissors.  Im also looking for corner punchers, rulers for making fancy torn edges and hole punchers (I have a heart one).  Also plain colored or white blank greeting type cards would be wonderful!!

Emphemra

Costume jewelry or broken pieces that can be recycled into new jewelry

I really really need some cub/boy scout related scrapbooking items such as paper, stickers ect!!!!

He is a fan of Bruce Lee and any DVD (he has VHS) movies or any craft with him inspired would be wonderful!!  Or perhaps a stenciled t-shirt of Bruce Lee.  He would be thrilled to receive something just for him (It also continues him to encourage me to swap.  Ya know totally his idea)

I claim frosty772 for A Supply Package
Outstanding Claims: 1
Sent (in transit): 0
Received: 0

Hi, Im Reinikka and I currently live in Southern California with my boyfriend and our two crazy dogs

I do a lot of paper crafting (I especially love making journals) and Im getting back into sewing. I just picked up English Paper Piecing, its time consuming but very addictive! I also have a few quilts planned and would love a fabric filled supply package Wink

My favorite colors are green, purple, and earthy tones. I am not a fan of pink or yellow (though mixed with other colors is ok and I do like bright pink with bright orange). If you claim me for anything wearable please check my pintrest for color ideas or feel free to ask me if youre not sure. There are a few things on my list where color/pattern do not matter so dont let this discourage you.

If you make me something with yarn please use only natural fibers (like cotton and wool). I have no allergies unless you plan on sending me bacon or preserved pork. Oh, and I do not have pierced ears, so no earrings please!

I love surprises so please dont feel limited to what I have on my list, check out my pinterest and if anything inspires you please be creative! Cheesy

I'm currently running a small in home day care in our basement, baking up a storm, and piling up books in the stack I can never get to read. I love chocolate, the ocean and the beach, books, live music. I love turquoise and red, I collect recipe cards, old handkerchiefs, tea cups, ephemera, vintage scarves, cookbooks, old books, and vintage toys. There is a lot more info in my blog (see the link in my signature!) I love many styles, but nothing country or overly cutesy.

Wishes:

Loves/Likes:
My favorite color is tiffany blue / robins egg blue minty green/blue/aqua. Im not a fan of sky blue though, even though it is similar to robins egg blue. I also love black, silver, aquas, cooler colors (purple, blue, green) in jewel tones. In jewelry I prefer silver over gold color.   I like longer necklaces (22" to 24")   I like shiny and sparkley things. I love birds particularly chubby song birds and chickens (prefer hens to roosters).  But I also love crows and ravens.  I also love period pieces (like Pride and Prejudice, Downton Abbey), fantasy art, reading, rainy days, mushrooms, music, brown paper packages tied up with string! Wink I like to knit and crochet. I love gaming like World of Warcraft. Harry Potter is probably my all time favorite movie and book series. Although I also love Twilight too (books and movies).   Food (baked, jams/preserves etc), handspun yarn, yarn, fiber/batts/roving, natural dyed yarns/fiber, bold colorful yarn/fiber, fabric (bonus if dyed by you!), Christmas ornaments, coffee, cute sheep, cute mice, handmade buttons (with holes for sewing onto things), strong fridge magnets (rare earth magnet strong) of various things like resin with glitter.   Rain, winter and fall, velvet, dragons (fantasy not eastern), books, reading, chocolate, fantasy literature, sea glass, windchimes, music, Christmas, stained glass, handwritten letters, Harry Potter, Gryffindor

Dislikes:
strong scents and cigarette smoke. Politics. Orange, yellow, pink, neon, skulls, sock monkeys, pinup art or zombies (particularly the type with gore and blood), crucifixes, lace, country themes, clowns, baby dolls or doll parts, gory/bloody stuff, body part things (anatomical hearts, eyeballs etc), houndstooth print

Allergies:
I am fairly certain I am allergic to mohairit feels like glass on my skin. Sad
Strong scents and cigarette smoke give me migraines.   Sad

Have fun and thanks for crafting for me!  Smiley

Initial and pearl pendant This is so pretty! My initial would be A (uppercase if possible).
Beaded Ornamental This is so pretty! Except instead of a necklace I would rather it be two identical pendants and then used the clear beading thread to attach them back to back (at the points maybe?) so to made a double sided Christmas ornament. I claim Avesthel for the initial and pearl pendant.  This is my 3rd claim this round.  (3,0,0)
