I wondered how you got such intense colors and such smooth blendins. I like the effects. I may have over brightened in Photoshop when getting the pic ready for uploading as well. Though it is pretty close. All the other scarecrows are jealous.

This is the card I just received from Arcadian Driftwood.

I love the simplicity, and I actually used to draw maps of gardens when I was younger (wishing I had land on which to grow it), so it's particularly fitting for me.  I want to transport myself into the map.

Thank you!!

I received from Beautifulsoul, not one, bu two cards for my abstract theme. ALso some cool extras. I love the colors on these, and she sent a note that said they are prisma colors, which I've never tried. Very nice optical illusions here!

This month, I had only "artist choice" listed as a theme, to see what happened. And what happened? I received so many great cards! (or, as my autocorrect decided to put it: "ado mangy gray cats" *shakes head* )

First card is "Doily Daisy" from death before dishes. Sadly my phone doesn't really capture the iridescent quality off the card.

Next card is "une explosion verte" by Acadian driftwood.

It's embroidered tony French knots on a white on white printed fabric. This is the first embroidered card I have gotten, and I'm a little bit in love with it  Smiley

Next up are two cards from witchhippie:

The dolphin is lovely, with little glitter details on it, and the zentangle it's done in a gorgeous pink-purple colour.

Next in line (yeah.. I'm just half way through Grin ) are four (!) Cards from rockingbearranch. She wrote that the ice cream card was too easy, so she sent an extra one. The envelope was stuffed to the brim with all kinds of extras as well  Cheesy

"ice scream dreams"

"that one old antique - y ice cream place over in tourist town"

Wonderful! Love the weird guy with the giant cone  Smiley

This card is woven out of paper strips. I keep trying to read the text, but without success Smiley

"little Morris says - ATCs are fun!

There's Morse code all around the edge of the card, and I just noticed the chameleon! Great card!

Last out is cmarion3, with her Halloween shadow box card.

It's just too cool for words, and my photo doesn't do it any justice.  It shows a witch flying over silouetted houses against the full moon. Just awesome!
When we have electricity again (major blackout here since yesterday evening...) I'll see if I can take a better pic.

Yay bonus! So many awesome cards. Love the orange and green abstract. Sadly it is no longer hot enough to live off ice cream here. It reached the 80s farenheit so I need a sweater.

How deep is the silhouette?

It's an accordion fold card about 3/4 to 1" deep. Often called a tunnel book. Here's some pics I took as taking pictures in the dark is always a fun thing to do. And not easy with power! Hope you get power back soon kosmicgirl.

Very cool cmarion. You used the space well!

Here is a gorgeous water color and ink card from blupaisan. The house looks like Bates motel or the Adam's family mansion.

Sadly it is no longer hot enough to live off ice cream here. It reached the 80s farenheit so I need a sweater.

Hooray for "fall" in south Texas.  My celebration of highs in the 80s today included:
  • busting out the cardigan (it looked great with my shorts and flip-flops)
  • pumpkin spice latte
  • harvest squash soup at Panera

Yay!

Edited to add:  I have a picture of my latest received ATC.  Beautifulsoul has started off my zodiac and astrology theme with a card dedicated to my sun sign, Capricorn:

I have always loved my sign; the idea of a "sea-goat" is just so weird and fantastical.  I also love it that Beautifulsoul incorporated so many of the other sun signs' symbols into the design.  Thanks for the great card!
