Very, very cool!  I knew the instant I saw them that the yarn bowls would be my favorites, and then I scrolled down and saw the feather mugs.  It was a Whoa,...WHOA moment.  They all rock!  Really, I can't decide between the yarn bowls and the feather mugs, I wan them both, and in fact may have to pin them both.   Wink

As I scrolled through, each one I thought better than the last!  I do think the Winter tree mugs are my favorites though.  Great job on all of them!

I love your pottery! Ironically (because I don't crochet or knit), I love the yarn bowls the most. They're so beautiful in their simplicity.

As the proud owner of one of the lovely yarn bowls, I will attest that they are functional as well as being lovely to look at...when not used for my current ball of yarn, I use it to hold my needles, pins and floss for my Dr. Who embroideries...I will warn you that the yarn coming out of the nice little swirl does not deter the cats from playing with the yarn...they love to stick their paws in the yarn loop of the bowl! Thank you! I learned how to throw pottery in college. I took a few semesters of ceramics and I just loved it. But then I took a break for about 10 years and I didn't get serious about it again until last fall. I found an awesome ceramics studio in town and I started taking classes and I fell in love with it all over again. Now I rent out studio space from them. Smiley

I absolutely encourage you to try sgraffito! If you like to draw, you'll really enjoy it. Smiley

That's awesome. I took ceramics too and I'm taking another class this semester along with drawing so I THINK I just might do some sgraffito!
