So my grandparents bought me some storage boxes to go with the my new shelves (which they also bought) to help organize my college apartment. I wasn't a fan of the boxes, but my grandma was a fan of the cheap price: around $4 each. Since she's a crafter herself she told me to stop complaining about it and fix it. I happen to have a lot of free time at college so that's exactly what I did.

Here's what the boxes looked like when we first bought them  (from Big Lots by the way).

I am NOT a fan of zebra print nor this scribble zebra print.

For the first box I used ribbon, stickers, a black sharpie, hot glue and three ceramic hello kitty faces that I broke off old shower curtain holders.

For the second box I used ribbon, stickers, a red sharpie and hot glue of course.

And here they are on the shelf!! I'm a SLIGHT hello kitty fan if you can't tell.

The zebra stripes weren't worth $4, lol.  Nice job on making these boxes your own, they look cute with your collection.

This storage box looks fantastic. Seriously, you have totally changed this storage box look and really, those zebra stripes look beautiful on these boxes.
