Oh, I succumed to pressure (my own) and entered the swap. No poppet experience but I do make rag or junkerjane type dolls. I have to try this once!

I will need all your help and support and tips and patterns and all that jazz.

Am I crazy?

You'll be able to do a poppet, no problem.  If you've made other cloth dolls this should be OK for you.

Crazy is only two letters off from craft so ..... I'll raise my hand and fit into that category!  I'm an inexperienced poppet maker as well.  I'm going to use this excuse to go to the fabric store and buy YET MORE FABRIC!  and after that, I'm going to have a few more holes drilled in my head.....
I'll offer to hold a hand if you don't mind holding mine Smiley

Crafty/Crazy - is there really a difference?  Wink

I'm looking forward to getting my partner  Grin and can I just add here that if you are my partner then I don't mind if my Poppet is in a fixed pose and not jointed as I won't be playing with it,just sitting smiling at it when I look up from my sewing machine  Grin

love to take part in personal swaps, I would love a poppet of my very own, or a doll like the ones made by Poppets & Lace
