So, I've been thinking about making an infinity dress forever, and also really wanting a black and white striped dress. For some reason it didn't occur to me until I found the actual fabric that these 2 dresses could be one and the same!

The fabric was 1.99 at the thrift store! Cheesy

This is my favorite way to wrap it that I've found. I have 3 weddings to attend this fall so I can wear it different ways to all 3!!

I read several internet tutorials on making and wrapping the dress and ultimately just went with my instincts, it's very basic. I like the effect created by wrapping it so the stripes go in different directions, it's very graphic and interesting. Eventually I'll hem it... (yeah, I've said that a few times...)

I'm happy with it!

I really like that. I never thought about making a striped infinity dress before.  it was really an attention grabber in the thumbnails. Love it. (I still want to make a few more infinity dresses for myself)

Interesting! Very beautiful. The way the stripes are placed really accentuates the chest, but that might not be a bad thing if it's what you're going for.  Wink

This is utterly adorable! The stripes are so versatile and would be great for a casual day at the park or even dressed up a little with accessories for an office/party setting. I love the wrap style - I think it is a flattering fit on almost everyone. Smiley

I agree the stripes are great - you look so pretty in this dress. I'd love to see the other ways you have found to wrap it.
