I had this really cute top I found at a thrift store, but it was really too small for me to wear. I loved the print on it though, so I bought it anyway.



One day, I decided that I needed a "new" bag to carry around stuff, so I decided to recycle that top with the cute print.

This is the lining and the outer part of the bag. The pocket in the lining is made from the sleeve of the top.


I combined the lining and outer part, made a strap with the scraps, and added an old zipper from my stash:


And this is the finished product:
