I was just given a box of my grandmother's old costume jewelry and there is a pretty chandelier earring that's lost its pair. I really don't want to toss it because it's gold... It's fairly small, too small to be a pendant, and my creative juices could use a boost! How can I repurpose it?

While it may be too small by itself, you can incorporate it into a larger pendant. Depending on your skills and how the chandelier looks, you can amp it up with wirework, crochet a delicate frame, or mount it to suede and bead around it.  You could also use it in a fabulous charm bracelet.  Hope this helps!

You could use other findings or beads or crystals and turn it into a hair pin

Perhaps incorporate it into an ear chain/cuff?

I've been liking layering.  I'm learning cool things to make with polymer clay and having fun putting charms with it. Similar to these earrings
