No not superheroes, two assemblage pieces I've worked on recently Cheesy

Little Owl boy is nesting in his favourite place. The inspiration for him came from the head piece, which I think is part of a door bolt of some kind.

And Bat Girl with her crochet wings, teaspoon ears and fork legs.

See the little fly tucked away in her belly? Smiley

Just waiting for the next piece to inspire an animal/bird/insect now! Cheesy

This both rock my world! The little bat is so cute though. It is wonderful how you see things in a totally new light. Smiley

Love the owl boy! The piece of ruler is such a great touch! And how clever of you to use the crocheted piece as wings. Did that begin life as a doily?

Thank you!

Yep, I picked up a bunch of crochet doilies and have been looking for ways to use them as whole pieces to do them justice! I think it turned out great wired up into wings.
