Been into making cupcakes lately, and these are the latest creations.  Love them and want to show off!  hehe

Chocolate Sundae Cupcakes
A sweet and tasty way to bring back your childhood.  The chocolate devils food cupcake base so fluffy and moist, the frosting just a perfect sweetness that melts smoothly.  A ganache drop that is fudgey and rich with a crispy texture of sprinkles across.  Then the sweetened cherry, just a perfect end to a perfect sundae.

Used a devils food cake for the cake, and a basic buttercream frosting and a delicious chocolate ganache topping with sprinkles and a cherry.

Genache:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup whipping cream
1 Tablespoon honey.
combine chips and cream in the microwave, melt until smooth, avoiding burning.  Add honey while stirring.

These I made for a fundraiser, so put them in a fun box and wrapped them up all pretty!

Peanut Butter Fudge Cupcakes
A rich peanut butter fudge cupcake, that was so light and fluffy.  Delicious.
Cupcakes- a rich devils food cake.  Fudge center- oooey gooey mouthful of super rich chocolate.  Frosting- soft and smooth as a cloud with peanut butter accents.  Fudge drizzle- just the right amount of fudge topping to bring the chocolate through the peanut butter frosting.  And a miniature reeces peanut butter cup on top for the cherry on top.  Incredible.  Tastes like it came from a specialized bakery and everything.

Used a devils food cake recipe and filled it with Homemade Fudge

Peanut Butter frosting was so fluffy and smooth and just a touch of pb to bring the flavor out, but not make it heavy.  Then a fudge drizzle over top and a reeces peanut butter cup for decoration.  --like my silicone cupcake wrappers?  They're fun, but there is just something about tearing the wrapper away from the cupcake that makes a cupcake a cupcake.

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter (I actually used 1/4 cup pb & 1/4 cup dehydrated peanut butter)
2 T milk (used heavy whipping cream)
2 tsp vanilla extract
3-4 cups powdered sugar

All boxed up and ready to hand out to the neighbors.

~~
And here's banana cupcakes!  Banana cake with banana cream pudding filling.  Has a soft vanilla frosting with a caramel drizzle.  Edible star sprinkles and a big banana chip top so people know what flavor.  Yum!

~~
Apple cinnamon cake with vanilla frosting and a caramel drizzle.

Making these are fun, and I enjoy not having to pay $3 a cupcake at the local cupcake bakery for a fancy cupcakes I can make, dare I say... better... from home.

Thanks for looking!

Made some more fun ones! Smiley

These are devil's food chocolate with a hot fudge filling, orange flavored frosting, and a chocolate ganache flower drizzle.  These have halloween sprinkles and some had a jelly pumpkin in the center of the flower.  We snuck around the neighborhood and dropped them off on porches for the phantom ghost. Boo!

They look both pretty and delicious!

And how nice of you to hand them out in the neighbourhood (for the phantom ghost, of course).
