I've been browsing Craftster for years now, but have never posted my own project until now, so here goes! Be nice to me! Tongue

A few weeks ago my best friend had her 21st. She asked us to come dressed as the era in which we *wish* we turned 21, so I chose to go future/post-apocaplyse. I made a hood, a sort-of-bustier-type-thing, and redecorated a pair of shorts I had sitting in my drawers unused for a few years now.

I'm super proud of my hood. I started with a dark brown faux fur inside, and built up the outside with fabric scraps and other bits I had around.

...and this is the rest of the costume!

The front

And the back

And this is me wearing it with a 1940s leather trench coat that I've had for a while...

Great costume. I love the patchwork, the embellishments and the theme. The layers of stuff are great. What fun.

That's brilliant! I love that kind of fabric collage, and yours is great. I hope you'll do (and post) more of it.

That is quality, and I love how it looks great put together!  :  ) The hood is amazing.

I'm a geek, and I dispatch for a bunch of geek cops. I like writing, playing video games, and making messes while attempting to craft.

I'd love to do personal swaps if something I do is interesting to you. I love doing themed swaps.

I'm too old to wear anything like this, but not too old to appreciate your wonderful costume!

Wow... That's amazing. That over-coat really looks great with the costume.
