I am doing a photoshoot July 6th for a vintage calender  ,and I need to make two high waist bikinis .. I drafted the pattern and made a test pair .. I may need to do a tad bit of tweaking but I think this is pretty much what Im going for .

Test / trial pair of " Vintage inspired " 1950s high waist bikini bottoms ! The final product will be made of the Star print fabric and possibly not have the ruffle ( this pair just needed something with some color to spice it up ) and the Red gingham pair will be this same shape but with a ruched panel in the middle or sides of the front

here is the fabric for the 2 bikinis the one pictured is only a test from scrap fabric

Id love to hear your comments and suggestions asap so I can get to work on the finished products Smiley

thats for the feedback everyone .. I now have 5 vintage  bikinis and a two piece romper ready for the vintage shoot on saturday BUT in the mean time Im gonna take some sneak peek pics and post them for you all to see this afternoon
