I want to make a skirt like this, but I'm not sure how the closure for the waist works.  It almost seems like they just have elastic under the lacing, but I'm not sure I'd be able to get that over my hips easily.  It doesn't seem to have a zipper anywhere.  Any ideas?

to me, it looks like there is a zipper in the back.  You could always put an invisible zipper in it, on the side.

I could do that.  I've never done an invisible zipper, I usually hand sew standard zippers.

Invisible zippers are built a little bit differently, but go in quite the same. They aren't as tricky as they sound Wink good luck, and if you make a skirt, please share!
