So craftster.
I lurk but do not post. At least I havent over the last year.
I came to you with finishing advice on a project I was doing just over a year ago (this was my first post- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=299693;sa=showPosts#axzz2cKuq7lH8), and I again, find myself at a loss.

I was taking my dog for a walk the other day and came across a large tree branch. Now, generally speaking, Im not really the type to stop and pick up random sticks and branches from the side of the road, but this one spoke to me, lol. And what it said was- "pick me up, take me home, and make me beautiful".
Well, Mr Branch. Ive picked you up. Ive taken you home. And you have done nothing but stand in the corner of my kitchen since. Just begging for some attention..but the unfortunate part? I have no idea how to give you what you need. I see a rustic sort of washed out beachy tone in you, soft blues and grays; but i do not know how to go about helping you be a beautiful decoration for my home.

And that is why Ive  come to ask for advice from the clever minds of craftster.
I need to help this branch have a 'Pretty Woman' ending, haha.
