I have to spend tomorrow working on end of term grades, but then I think I may have some crafting time Tuesday afternoon. This fall, my schedule is kicking me hard...

My guess is the Head Gamemaker was on her way to post the new prompts when she tripped and fell into a wardrobe into Narnia... I'm sure she'll be posting them as soon as she gets back from her quest! Cheesy

And up!

Here they are so you don't have to click over. Smiley

---November Battle: Heroes vs. Villains--- (can be ANY hero or villain...use your description to explain how your project represent a hero or villain, and remember to add HERO or VILLAIN, especially if it is not evident at first glance)

---November UFO Sighting: August 12, 1953, Ellsworth UFO sighting: A UFO appearing as a red glowing light is witnessed by 45 people. The sighting takes place for two nights.  10 extra bonus points for turning in a UFO that is "red".

--November--
--- Welcome our new overlords! Craft something representing your idea of our new overlords…robots, aliens, altered humans, new evolutionary skills or craft something to give your new overlords.

---The Scientific Method: Ask a Question, Form a Hypothesis, Conduct an Experiment, Collect Data, Analyze your Data & Draw a Conclusion… Come up with a question and hypothesis for your craft, work it up and discover the results!  Submissions that follow a lab report type of format (i.e. main steps clearly stated and represented) will earn 10 extra points.

---British Invasion: Home of Shakespeare, Joyce, Guinness drinkers, tea drinkers, and some Doctor guy…I forget his name. Use you crafting to represent how you are inspired or influenced by the British Invasion.

---Myths: A  myth is a traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon, and typically involving supernatural beings or events.  Your challenge is craft something that illustrates or is inspired by a myth.  A link or title of myth reference should be included with turn-in.

---Newbies & Noobs:  Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbies are those who are new to some task; they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage.  Noobs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more.  Everyone has been in the shoes of at least one of these.  Your challenge is to  research a newbie or noob.  Those researching newbies should attempt a new-to-you craft.  Those researching noobs should attempt a project that you have attempted before and gave up on.

Hi everyone, have you recovered from the fun candy and costumes holiday called Halloween? We don't celebrate it here, but I think I'm trying to catch up on it anyway, have been raiding the kitchen for sweet stuff all week.
This month just flew by, like a witch on her broom, headed for mischief.
We've hit and passed the 100 projects mark. seen a second research project submitted (Calabaza's carrier pigeon), watched vampires and werewolves go head to head (I think it's a tie), and were generally inspired by the awesomeness of this group.
The most popular prompts so far are Conventions, Starfleet Uniforms and the Periodic Table, which could mean we are all elemental con-going trekkies (or just wish we were).

And where are our treats?
Here's what we have in the goody bag today (I think the count is off by a few points, I have a team of tribbles checking my notes):
Wordy - 570 points, 6 active members
Multimedia - 780 points, 7 active members
Textbook - 400 points, 4 active members
Randomizer - 620 points, 3 active member
Fandom - 130 points, 3 active member

Keep it up everyone Smiley

Now, where did those gummy bears go?
