I was totally bumming because nothing was speaking to me and I was like 'maybe this isn't the craftalong for me' (since this is my first nerd battles).  But then lightning struck!  And I don't know where I'm going to find the time but I am totally going to make this project happen  Cheesy

Whoo-hoo! I'm so psyched about the start of the next batch of the Games! I'm still stoked about how many projects I was able to check off of my list via the Games. Usually, I end up crafting for gifts and swaps, and almost never for myself, so it was truly fun (okay... and selfish Smiley ). I'm heading to check out the categories to see if I can find something that will fit with my garlic pickling (starting as soon as I empty out the sink... which will happen as soon as I empty the dishwasher...)!

As much as the Multimedia side is grabbing my hand and whispering "RUN!", my love for programming is responding with a simple "if (loveLogic && loveKnowledge && loveSciene && loveMath){Team="Textbook";}". So please excuse all my Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Star Trek and Wars, Pokemon, and other video game related crafts but as Spock says, "It is only logical" for me to join TEAM TEXTBOOK!
YAY!! And ((HUGS)) for the Cap! Grin

Yay, new round!
I spent some time yesterday "crafting" a worksheet to keep track of projects, teams and scores, so bring on the projects!
Awesome prompts, pinkleo, just  quickly reading through them flooded me with idea. I can't wait to see what everyone does.
Tanath, I am deeming you the Nerd Battles Project Tracker!  Honestly, if you were here, I would Tackle HUG you!  You can PM me a link (or tell me what you need from me).  Also, let me know if you need anything!

And I'm so excited to hear your crafty muses are singing! Grin

I have just decided on a research project.

Sigh.... false alarm! I have now forgotten said research project. That's what happens when you don't write brilliant ideas down.

Once you start seeing the things other people are doing it really sparks creativity, too!  I keep a list of all of the projects I want to try (plus a pinterest board of even more stuff) and then usually skim that as I start to think about the monthly challenges.  Sometimes I make things specifically for the challenges, but more often than not I just make what I want to make and then work a little to make it fit into the prompts.  Cheesy  I can't wait to see your project!

I just updated my Summer Games spreadsheet for Fall and am excited to try out some ideas.  Cheesy  And I finally decided I am joining Team Randomizer!

Oh no!  Maybe it will come back to you randomly when you're thinking about something else.  That's what always happens to me, to which I usually respond, "Thanks, brain."  Tongue

Hooray!  I'm so excited.  Cheesy The Monster challenge is PERFECT, I just bought some Halloween fabric this weekend to make monsters!

I am excited to get started on my research project too -- I'll be making a Teesha Moore-style patch wall hanging.  This is definitely going to be pushing me into new realms (I've never embroidered before!), so if anybody has any suggestions/tips/resources for a newbie TM patch maker, I would greatly appreciate it  (I've already started watching TM's official videos on Youtube, but I will take all the help I can get!)

confused already!

one post on the Fall Nerd Battles page says to make team declarations here in the discussion thread, and another post further down from that says to make your declaration in your first finished project on the Fall Nerd Battles page.  so which is it?
