I have a small pile of projects to grade (I was smart and had them do them in groups Smiley ) and my goal is to knock them out tonight. I have a mid-day commitment tomorrow, but then, I am free to craft for the rest of the day. Heading to a baseball game with a group of students on Sunday, so no crafting is going to happen. Sad

Mmmmh... after I received the gorgeous Harry Potter bag in the HP Box Swap, I'm getting more into Teesha Moore patches ... just not sure where to start? Soo many things are out there ... any suggestions where/how to start? It's all so overwhelming...  Grin

Really hoping to get some crafting done on Tuesday, things were just a bit hectic here since we got back from Germany...  Shocked

Well, you could keep an eye out for the next TM swap. Follow the previous swap for news. I think it is due to happen soon.

Before I started my bag many years ago, I searched through the Craftster archives, and through Flickr to get inspiration for my patches.  I didn't really copy them, I just looked for cool stitches or ideas...like using iron-ons, fabric cut outs, and charms.  Then I matched up my fabric scraps and cut them together at the same time so they would line up nicely...but I'm a little OCD like that.  Cheesy

He looks so great already!  I can't wait to see it as you make more progress!

I have been working on moving, but not really crafting...just cleaning and packing!  I'll have a few things to post soon, though.  I have been keeping up the thread and trying to stay as up-to-date as possible with badges and things, even though I'm not posting so much at the moment.  Things will settle down in the next two weeks, so then I can get back to obsessively checking Craftster 12 times a day.  Cheesy

I thought my fellow Who nerds might appreciate the cupcakes my mom and grandma made me for my birthday.  They sure made my day!   Grin

I have not tried an official TM patch...I have done similar hippy stuff before I ever even heard of her, though.
It is my take that most anything goes. No size restrictions...no special colors...theme is up to participants in what they like for swapping. Lots of hand embroidery, or maybe by machine. Beads are a nice add on. Not required. Other little quiltey do-dads go well, too. {Like silk flower petals, or some other topping}

For your own darn self, make them how you like. For swapping...just ask what your partner likes. Colors, textures, theme...that sort of thing. I can't wait to "bomb" into these. My mind is racing, but I can't think where I would use them just yet. I am not fond of switching out purses...so maybe a Holiday bunting style banner? Mind is still boiling with ideas. I don't think they have to be square/rectangle. I would probably request some triangles. Grin Later date. I am swamped in some swaps at the moment.

If anyone is interested in fabric trades...I have a ton. And my own iSpy thread on here in the quilting board. That is what I am wishing at the moment. But I can swap out to you for other fabrics that you can add for your TM patches. Grin The left overs from my iSpy will go into some TMs, I am sure. Feel free to PM me. We can discuss details there.

I haven't worked on my Research Project in weeks.   Embarrassed  I had my doubts about this one, and I'll probably end up bailing on it and starting another.  I have a large swap project coming up that will probably be a better Research Project, at least one that I'll actually finish!   Tongue
