I think occasional eyes spread throughout nerd art would still be creepy awesome since you may not notice it right away and then it'll be totally disturbing once you start seeing them  Cheesy They are crazy beautiful.  I think I'm about to start to try to teach myself the tiniest bit of embroidery and I am terrified.  I can't believe what you do.

By the way, Ludi, where are you located?  I know it's in Texas but I was curious as to where (I'm in Tyler but no one's ever from my area  Roll Eyes)

Thank you, gypsy.  Smiley  Don't be scared!  I just use the simplest of stitches, variations on line stitches such as running and long-and-short.  Right now I'm learning a special stitch, casalguidi, for a swap.  Maybe I'll post about it on the needlework board. But pretty much everything else I've done is with those simple line stitches, just a LOT of them, and many of colors of thread.  I'm located NW of San Antonio.

Battle/Challenge: September Monster Madness
Team:Multimedia
Bonus Points:
Project Name:Snow Dalek
Brief Description: Every year my grandmother puts up a Christmas village that is ridiculously huge! So my kids and my husband and I always try to sneak things in to see if she notices. So the monster challenge inspired me to make my fav Doctor Who "monster"- the Dalek as a snowman to hide among her Victorian villages. I made it out of white fimo clay and a toothpick.

Challenge: September Periodic Table
Team: Wordy
Project Name: 9th Doctor Stamped Pendant
Project Page Link: N/A
Brief Description: For this challenge, I chose Aluminum. Aluminum is a soft, light metal, two characteristics that make it the perfect choice for stamping and wearing! This project utilizes a rectangular piece of aluminum used to create a stamped pendant with the 9th Doctor's favorite catch phrase: Fantastic!

Challenge: September Starfleet Uniform
Team: Wordy
Project Name: TARDIS Tablet Cover
Project Page Link: N/A
Brief Description: I chose to be inspired by the blue uniforms of science and medical. What could be bluer than the TARDIS?
Project Picture:

Challenge: September Monster Madness
Team: Wordy
Project Name: Dalek Cross Stitch Buttons
Project Page Link: N/A
Brief Description:

"Think you've seen it all? Think again. Outside those doors, we might see anything. We could find new worlds, terrifying monsters, impossible things. And if you come with me... nothing will ever be the same again." - 10

Of all the things The Doctor has shown us, the Daleks are by far the most terrifying monsters of the universe (statement subject to argument).

Battle/Challenge: September Convention
Team: Wordy
Project Name: Dice bags!
Brief Description: Perfect for taking your dice to the convention so you can stay up all night gaming, or for bringing home the mysterious 24-sided die that the Game Science guy talked you into buying in the dealers' room. I designed this bag pattern for a tabletop game-themed swap a few years ago.
Project Picture:

The blue one with skulls is for me. The other two are for some friends, who just gave me my very own copy of A Feast of Ice and Fire.

I've started 2 other projects for this month too. This is the first one I've had time to finish!
