--Head Gamemaker Memo--

Research Projects (RPs)
Wishing everyone the best of crafty luck with their RPs!  I believe I got them all transferred and added, but due to time shift (Summer to Fall) and my darn fallible human ways, please double check to make sure all is well.  PM or post if something is amiss.  Thanks. Grin

Battle/Challenge: September Conventions
Team: debate, debate, debate...Randomizer
Bonus Points: 0
Project Name: Into the Woods Lucinda Costume
Project Page Link (if available): n/a
Brief Description: Project Picture:Costumes- elaborate, WAY-wow-er-than-this costumes -can be found at conventions, right?
I'm a volunteer seamstress for a local theater. Their next production is Into the Woods and I got to make a dress for Lucinda (one of Cinderella's stepsisters.) It's yet to be cut to the right length Smiley

The pattern is McCall's M5647. The only major alteration I had to do was make it a zippered back (lapped zipper- one of my faves) instead of lace-up. It's made out of brocade (bodice), crushed panne (skirt), chiffon (sleeves) and plain, old cotton (bodice lining.)

BadWolf314, I love the stamped penny bracelet!
SenatorOrgana, that ATC is so clever!

Battle/Challenge:  September Battle Royale - Austen!
Team: Wordy!
Bonus Points: none
Project Name: A Lovers Memories
Project Page Link:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=427558.0#axzz2fLzC4gHa
Brief Description:  This piece is inspired by Lovers Eye jewelry of the Georgian period, the latter part of which was known in England as the Regency, and also by ladies purses from the same period, known as reticules, which were small decorated bags often of an angular pattern.  Jane Austen, one of my favorite writers, lived during the Regency.

Lovely eye, Ludi.

I may have missed it, but are you planning anything with your eye embroidery? I'm envisioning a "watching wall" or something equally creepy and very you.

Thank you, Abbee.  I love the idea of a watching wall!  I am planning/hoping to find new homes for most of these, so I'll probably end up displaying the remainder among other works.  Maybe on a "nerd wall"   Cheesy
