I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

I'm here, I'm here! Geez, it has been nuts around my house! You'd think with one kid gone and another mostly gone I'd have LOADS of time to do stuff...sheesh! Working away on project; the first two were scrapped because they were as stinky as a zombie, so hopefully third time is the charm.

This week's question:

What is your favorite scary story or book?

You have from today, September 6th to next Friday, September 13th to answer.

I really love ghost stories but I think one of my favorite stories is the Legend of Sleepy Hallow.

When my husband is on tour or playing late at night he now forbids me from watching scary movies or reading scary stories. I always get freaked out and scared. He tells me to watch a Disney movie or the Hallmark channel.  Cheesy I blame the dogs. They can hear all sorts of things and scare me.

I still LOVE Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

My favorite story, though, is La Llorona.

My husband is the one who hears every single noise!!!!  I can be sound asleep, he'll hear the least little noise, wake me up, and ask me if I heard it.  If I'm still sleeping, of course I didn't!!!!   Grin  It obviously didn't bother me any!!!   Grin

I am a Poe fan...a little "Tell Tale Heart" is pretty awesome. You can't talk about scary stories and leave out Stephen King. "It" and a short story "Boogie Man" (sp?) scared the crap out of me. I would always go to sleep with the food channel on if I read something scary. Nothing scary on there...

"The Red Lodge" by H. Russell Wakefield is probably my most favorite.

"The Beckoning Fair One" by Oliver Onions is right up there.

"The Colour Out of Space" by HP Lovecraft is pretty darn scary.
