Here's one of the results of a project my husband and I have been working on for a number of months, a slot car race driver figure.  This one is Jim Clark, from this sculpture by me:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=422955.0#axzz2bxXOYnhr  and another, separate sculpture I did of a race driver body.  My husband digitally scanned the sculptures, manipulated them in the computer to add clothing detail, helmet, etc and then had them 3D printed, this one at 1:32 scale.  This figure is 1.25 inches long:
