Here's how to use Nail Stamps! If you've never heard of them, they are just stamps to roll across your nails and give amazing patterns. I got my set off Amazon, but I've even seen mini sets at Walmart for around $10.
Painted Nails --Here a double coat of pink
Nail stamp plate of your choice
paint color --black. Konad makes special nail stamp paints, but you can experiment to see if your stash works. This was the best black of my stash for stamping. Thicker polishes are better for stamping or those ones that are 'one coat' colors. I usually just test the stamp out on a piece of scrap paper to see if the color is dark enough for me.
nail polish remover
*and apparently an little girls hairclip- (ok just kidding on that one. not sure why it jumped in the picture lol)
Polish right over the design on your disk
Scrape it off. -- I like to cover my workspace with an extra piece of paper so I can push the extra paint clear off the disk.
Use the wand to roll over the design
The paint will come out of the creases and stick to the wand
Position it over your fingernail and roll right across the whole nail bed.
Clean up the extra edges with a qtip dipped in polish remover. --I use polish remover on a cotton pad to clear the extra paint from the scraper, stamper, and disk.
Do it nine more times. Top coat and you're done!
Love my zebra nails!
