Craftster means doing crafts you never would have tried on your own.  And never giving up until you learn.

Over the course of a swapping time or two, I was sent a few amazing hand carved stamps.  When I first got one I hardly knew it was even possible.  "You can make your own stamps!!?"  Over time I got more and more curious and last year I decided it was my turn to try.  I carved daily for weeks until I felt confident with my abilities, and put it away in my "I can do that" list.  I love it now.  One of my favorite crafts..

This is a phoenix, rising from the ashes.  Beautiful and proud.  Never giving up.  Just like a craftster attempting a new craft.  Don't give up!

Larger stamp, about 3 inches on blocked wood circle.

It even makes a majestic faux tattoo

My husband has told me I'm not to give this stamp away, that even he wants to use it for his unknown to me ways.  So, you know it's got to be good when the men approve!

Happy Anniversary Craftster!

It looks amazing. Especially as a tattoo! Did you do it with normal ink?

It was just the black stamp pad I had close, lol.  It kept on well for about six hours, then I scrubbed it away, so don't know how long it would last.  Works for a fun night at least!
