Would anyone be interested in a swap for ephemera? I was thinking traditional paper stuff like postcards, book pages, small drawings, wall paper samples, paint swatches, movie stubs... as well as stickers, pieces of ribbon or lace, buttons, etc. I want to start journaling and I think it would be fun to have lots of little random bit to work into the pages. I was thinking maybe swapping enough bits to fit some agreed upon size envelope. Thought this might be a fun, quick swap. Smiley

P.S.
I can't organize right now but if there's interest in this and someone can offer to organize that'd be amazing!

Just the other day I was filing away yet another scavenged label and thought "I hope there's another ephemera swap soon. I've got lots of good stuff to share." And here we are.

I'd certainly be interested, of course. I might even be able to organize. I'll have to take a realistic look at the calendar first, though.

That could be a relatively frugal swap.

I'm always looking for new things to craft into my journal.
I would be in, if I have an open spot at the time.

I think this would be a fun swap. I know I do a lot of smaller projects and I have to buy some stuff in bulk when I know I will only really be using it once. I would love to pass some of that stuff along to someone who could use it.

That's the whole point, isn't it? When it's over, you still have just as much stuff, but some of it is different stuff!

Okay, I'm going to sit down, look at a calendar and figure out dates for this.

I might be up for this Smiley I haven't logged onto Craftster for ages but I was just sorting through my box of ephemera (oh who am I kidding, a box of ephemera) and thought of the swaps I did on here before, and how good it would be to do another one to pass on the things that aren't quite to my taste.

Okay, I've consulted a calendar (actually our city Waste Department's recycling calendar, which is appropriate) and have picked out dates. I hope to open the swap this Saturday, October 19, and sign-ups will run for a week until October 27. I'm only going to leave three weeks for "crafting", because it shouldn't take too much time to get to know your partner and assemble an envelope of goods. And a lot of people start to get really busy with Christmas stuff by mid-November, so that'll get it out of the way before the rush hits.

I've been looking for a whimsy or ephemera swap as well.  Let me know if this turns into something real, I think I'd be in.
