Craftster means many, many things to me... and a big part of that is craft swaps! I love getting to know people from all over the world, and truly, for me, giving is the best part. I love stalking my partners and coming up with the perfect thing for them.

I made these itty bitty houses for the inchies paper house swap I'm currently participating in. Each house has to be shipped flat, then assembled by the recipient, so you get to see the flat version here... Once they are assembled, pictures should be posted in the swap gallery.

The first house was inspired by another craftster project that 'partner A' had pinned...

Each wall is 1"x1". The stones were painted with water color and a very tiny brush...

I really like the way my shingles turned out... I used a paper punch and shingled just like on a regular roof.

The second house was inspired by this bag/box that 'partner B' had pinned.

The last house was inspired by some butterfly wings that 'partner C' had pinned.

Each house was mailed in a slightly decorated envelope, just for fun.

I've never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.

So adorable! I actually thought of doing a shingled roof similar to yours! Smiley
I also love how they are all so different, it's clear that they are all meant for
completely different swap partners. I think you'll make three people very
happy with those houses!

All are cute but my favorite is the first one because it shows great work on the shingles and probably because its more realistic look reminds me of childhood trips.

I love how each house was custom done for your partners!  Such different styles, yet all quite lovely and perfect for your housing development! Grin

The shingles are wonderful, and I am very partial to glitter...framing those windows is such a cute idea!
