Craftster means to me:

Inspiration, Ideas, Encouragement, and Community. I created an art journal to keep track of all my ideas and inspiration and then I created one to give away.

Using inspiration from the internet (I just typed in art journals and looked at the pictures.) I took a black and white composition notebook and played with it.

Materials Used:
Composition notebooks
Mod Podge
Martha Stewart magazines
Old calendars
Tissue paper
Wax paper

I used Mod Podge to glue three sheets of the notebook together at a time, on some of the top sheets I then glued down pages from magazines. I put pieces of wax paper in between each set of three so that I could do multiple pages at a time. I covered the outside covers but left the insides because I always loved filling out that information when I was a kid.

I recommend only doing a few sets of pages at a time, the Mod Podge takes a while to dry in the binding.  You will use a lot of Mod Podge, I went through an entire large bottle.

Great idea! I've been pondering covers for my own notebooks, and didn't even think of magazine pages.
