I should have known we would have a sender by now. Honestly, I'm surprised it hasn't been sooner. I still haven't started, though. Bah! Freakin' monkeys, man. I have an idea but I don't know if it will translate as I see it now that I found an image I want to use. After this last batch of monkeys (20+) I'm done making them for the market season, though. Maybe I'll have time to start Monday? I hope?
can you post a piccie of the monkeys after you've made em?  I wanna see!! Smiley

I have an ever-updating thread for them. They really do suck my time. But now that it's getting darker and I can't color match in artificial light for sewing faces etc on, I'm on monkey break. But instead of making a start on my hoop I'm starting a random quilt top. What?! Why am I doing this? The super long crafting time is making me complacent, I think.

That's funny because I am finishing a quilt I've been making for my son.  I have a thread in the embroidery section with all these embroidered skulls I've done, and I just finished piecing together my quilt top today, and tonight I've machine quilted about 1/3 of it. It's a super secret, so up until last week when school started, I could only work on it while they were sleeping.  This is my first real (besides a small baby sized one) quilt I've ever done. I've never machine quilted anything.

I do have a hoop mostly done (has been since like day 3) for my partner, but I have another idea drawn out, and might work on that in the next few days. Usually I'm one of the very first to send, but when there's such a long crafting time, it's really not much fun to be the only one with something sitting in the Gallery...so, I'm giving myself the time to just stew over what I really want to send. If I like idea #2, I may send both.

I've decided I very much prefer my idea for hoop number two  (which I've stitched up)  I will finish the back, and should be ready to send sometime next week--I think!

Just checking in, noticed I haven't posted in this swap for a bit as I finished up quite a while ago.
