I bought a couple of t-shirts from the thrift  to make into halters.  First thing I did was look on Craftster!! I got lost for hours looking at many tutes! I am not complaining!! I love Craftster for ideas and help with making what I have in my mind become a beautiful item!! I saw this faux corset tutorials http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=136462.0#axzz2bOUcNOuD

I did change it a bit... I tried to cut the tabs but the material really was being a pain.. I cut the hem off the bottom  sewed them to the sides of the corset and cut those into the "tabs"  I changed my too small t-shirt to this cute halter:

this is what it looked like before:

This is how it looks in the front now:

So after  looking at many of the tutorials I had a too large for me top that I LOVED the back as you can see the angel wings:

So I thought why not do something for the sides??
This is what I came up with:

Now I have a couple sexy halters to wear on the hot and humid days...

It isn't necessarily posted to the wrong board. It fits here in Reusing/Recycling/Recrafting if that's where you wanted it! Smiley

Your shirts look great!

I'd say you met the challenge. Like the recon tshirts, I especially like the hem reused as reinforcement.
