Thanks! I found it very relaxing...but that could have just been the fumes from a Sharpie I was using.

Really nice!! I had the same experience when I first tried these - it is very meditative, huh? You seem to have a knack for it.

I have always loved the graphic look of zentangles...your birdhouse is really a way to use the design in a different way...nice job!

I am a newbie and I just discovered this board. I love the idea of this board 'cause for me it's a bit hard to find newbie-friendly places at this site, so as a newbie I sometimes get confused while hanging around. Thank you for setting up this board!
Anyway, I recently made my first crocheted item and it is a pouch. I decided to mail it together with this friendship bracelet I made to a dear friend, and I will add a card or letter to the mail. It will be my Christmas present to her. I like green as a festive colour more than red or white, it sounds meaningful to me 'cause it represents newborn life.

Here is the pouch and bracelet.

Thanks for looking. Means a lot to me.

Very nicely done, MissingWillow! I love your tight stitching.

And don't worry, I am not a newbie here, but I still get totally confused. There are things that I still have not learned to do proper. There are help screens, but I still run into trouble with those  Roll Eyes This is such a large site with so much going on, it just makes your head spin, sometimes.

Reach out to mods, and other members who seem to know what they are doing. Everyone seems really helpful here. Welcome! You are a wonderful artist. I love your choice of colors!

Oh, and Kittykill...Zentangles are FUNNNNN! There is no right or wrong. Generaly they are just black marker on white, but I have seen many interesting designs in colored marker, too. They are just doodles, and make great greeting cards, in addition to doing them ATC size. You can also use gel pen on black paper. I have a small clipboard that I carry with me, and do them while I am waiting at the doctor's office, etc. I have met many good friends this way, as they are curious as to what I am doing, and want to take a peek  Grin They are not personal, so I don't mind sharing. My journal pages are another story, but heh! I do those at home.
Here are some samples of mine. Enjoy

Karen31415 - Love that bracelet! So intricate that it makes me think of inkle loom weaving. Lucky friend! As for the bag, I can't remember what my first crochet project was (that's been a few decades ago Roll Eyes, but I'm sure mine didn't turn out nearly that well done. Congrats!
