Hi,

I just joined today. I'm a total beginner and really need to do more samplers.

I didn't have any 'proper' embroidery tools yet. But I really enjoy it.

Wow! You may be new to Craftster, but the creativeness and professionalism of what you've posted on Flicker shows that you're definitely not new to crafting. Looks like we oldsters have a lot we can learn from you. I especially love the bookbinding photos. I've never seen that elaborate a spine lacing before. We may need you to post some tutorials. Welcome aboard!

And if the embroidery you posted is an example of what you can do without the "proper" embroidery tools, can't wait to see what you could do with them. What "proper" tools are you needing?

Hello Smiley

Ooh what a good idea this is! Well my names KATRINA I'm from England and I've done a couple of swaps, I have no real "speciality" area, I just see something and want to try it! Haha I love art dolls, plushes, anything cute and up cycled/recycled.
Like things that are felted, knitted, crocheted, glasswork as not mastered these! And probably never will! Sad

My swap creations (a few awaiting partner to receive so wont post)

Pendants I made outta old stamps and copper

And my current project/progress... Trying paperclay doll

Cute Alice in Wonderland. Loved the cards when you posted them for the Crafted Notecard Swap, but that paperclay doll is going to be awesome! What's your plan for it?
