Welcome, dawnkatdead! Judging from your avatar and signature, I bet you will have some awesome Halloween goodies to share Smiley. I can't wait to see!
Thanks! I only have 2 right now that are Halloween goodies. One doesn't really count cause it stays up year round Grin. I have many plans this year for several others. Including working on a few tombstones with my dad, and a Dead and Breakfast sign for their yard haunt.

Dead and Breakfast!! That is so clever. I can't wait to see.

Halloween is really fun around Craftster. There is usually a costume challenge, a lot of Halloween themed swaps and plenty of dcor projects that are shared.

We have a whole board just for Halloween!!

Will have to let my dds know about this. My eldest, Zalphinian, is in her first swap now and my youngest, Bethimusprime, is finishing up another swap.

This is a great idea for encouraging newbies! Welcome to all!

I just joined up because I found the Harry Potter Craftalong! I'm super excited!

I started on a charm bracelet based on this one I saw on Etsy.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/81886984/bertie-botts-every-flavor-bean-charm?ref=col_view

I could have just saved my pennies and bought that one, but I really wanted the beans to match the ones I've found on Pottermore. I'm that big of a geek.

I've already gotten the beans made and painted. It took me all day today, but I'm pretty pleased. I still need to get them put on some kind of bracelet.

I also started a pair of knit fingerless gloves. I tried a new method for the striping, but I'm not liking how it turned out. My five year old pulled my DPNS out of the project, so I might just frog the whole thing and start over.

Hi all  Smiley here are a few of my projects, i'm alittle random with my project choices so there is no real theme.

This is a finished project, one of my favorite modular origami kusudama  Cheesy i love making these things and would have them hanging all over the house if my cat didn't keep knocking them down  Cry

Excuse the fuzzy picture, i'm having trouble getting a decent shot of this. Its my first large scale quilling project, still a work in progress since every time i think i'm done i decide to add "just a few more leaves" Tongue

Lastly here is one for my gamer friends, I've been beta testing final fantasy xiv and decided i needed to create something to commemorate this, this is the symbol for the nation of Gridania painted on canvas, not complete yet as i have to go buy white paint.  Cheesy

 Cheesy

I'm an old member (lurker?) but new to posting (finally!).

This has always been a supportive site and having a newbie craftalong will give me the confidence to post more.

You'll have so much fun in the Harry Potter Craftalong, TooFewShoes. That bracelet is going to be really cute.

Those pesky DPNs! My dogs like to grab them out of my knitting now and then. They make great chew toys Smiley. Good luck with the gloves.

Wow, PaperSongBird! You have some serious paper folding skills. That ornament is so pretty but I can definitely see how a kitty would have fun playing with it Smiley.
