I adore Sherlock Holmes, in all iterations. I've been reading him since I was eight, and I've been a fan ever since.

One of my best friends provided me with a fun cross-stitch pattern that I decided to transform into a crochet blanket. I made each stitch into a granny square and this is the result:



It's about four feet tall and is quite a lot larger than I originally intended it to be. That's what I get for not doing the math before I stitched, lol!

Update: Here's the pattern, I hope it makes sense Smiley

Oh I really like this.  You did a great job.  Making cross-stitches into crocheted blankets is a wonderful thing, especially in this case.
