nice cake!
do u know how to post it as a big picture? if not, i can try to explain how i post photos.
How did u do it?? I'm totally looking for new and tasty ways to cake decorate.

By the way I found out the cake I'm making is no longer a dragon, but a castle! which is great because i have a pattern for a castle lamington cake. its a bit simple, but i can dress it up a bit. and its an excuse for a 16 year old to play with lego! (to find the little men to guard the castle!)

i did a castle for her first birthday .
i did the cake square with some sugar paper towers and turrets it made it really easy using that stuff!! then i piped ivy all over it and plonked a couple of faries and toadstools ontop of the cake

I like the ivy idea. i think i might even pipe myself a patch. I've had a fair bit of trouble with piping, any tips?
Also what is this sugar paper? I've never heard of it!
I would love to see any other cakes u've done.

hhhmm piping... well i just go for it really (i did start a sugar craft course but moved away after a few weeks)
the best tip is to squeeze out a small amount and then while you still squeeze lift the bag so that you can position the icing were you want it instead of 'scratching' it along like you would a pen, does that make any sense??
i hope so.
i need a scanner to show you the other cakes long story!
