It is a red/maroon lily the size of a desert plate. The edge of the petals have white flecks. I don't know the name though. My garden is organized by type, the kind that lives, and the kind that don't.

Here is the ATC I received from SenatorOrgana! The theme I chose was "Winter".  It's got nice differing textures, I like the embroidery that's sort of framing the picture. The embroidery is actually white but it looks grey because of my crappy old camera. She also sent me an inchie which I forgot to take a picture of, oops.

I claimed two partners so I have yet to receive my second ATC but I can wait.  Smiley

From blupaisan. Too funny. It is also illegal to hitch your horse in front of a barber shop.

LOL, love it. That rule would be hard to follow here with all the Amish. Not writing on someone's cow, but the horse in front of the barber shop, hehehe. We have horse hitches all over town including down by the barber shop.  Tongue

Blupaisan... I didn't get a picture of it at all. :-( I was so worried it was going to be sent back to me because of the size/thickness of it. I must have forgotten to snap a shot of it.
The base is a palm tree...all the goodies ontop are all from one tree. I don't know the name of it. Its in my back yard. Lol so here is a picture of the tree.

I used the little leaves for her hair. The pink fuzzy flower is what I used for her dress. The fuzzies (lol) are sticking out of these green bulbs. I used those to line her face. Iused a seed from the tree for her mouth. To line her I used pieces of the leaf. This tree is lovely. .. we had one at my old house as well. I love it, whatever it is.

Alrighty!!!! Blupaisan sent me a fairy house!!!!!  It is the cutest little thing!!! It slightly reminds of Bilbo Baggins house. Hehehe which is adorable!!! I love that she wrapped it in a tea box...it made the whole experience so legitimate! !! Like a fairy was going to pop out and fly around my house! Thank you so much Blu your art is full of positive energy! !! ♡ it makes me extremely happy!

Blu, lovely cards as always  Smiley

I had q wonderful week, I received a bunch of cards!
I'm having issues with my camera though, so I'm apologizing beforehand for the phone photos..

Ok, first card is fromrockingbearranch. It's the lovable monster Drool berry, the ice cream monster! He reminds me of some of the kids at the kindergarten where I work. So much fun, but not some one you would like to hug and kiss! Lol

Second card is from Helcura. It's a Jackrabbit, for my archaeology theme. I love it! I don't know much about the Mimbre culture, but I was immediately struck by the resemblance to Minoan pottery. I find it so interesting that different cultures separated by oceans and thousands of treats still develop similar imagery and idioms (wrote a thesis on that  Cheesy )

The last few are from gala_apples
She claimed me twice, for "slap a cog on it and call it steampunk", and for "favourite bands"

I love them both! And I'm so happy that I put the music theme on my list; what a great way to find out about new bands (at least new to me Smiley ) The card reads:
No dress rehearsal, this is our life
The tragically hip

Gonna have to check them out!
