Hi everyone!  This is my very first post and I so hope this is okay to do here.

I live and work in Northern NJ (not sure if it's even okay to say where I am from lol).  I am looking to take some sewing classes, does anyone know of sewing classes in Northern NJ?  I have signed up for some Craftsy classes but I know I need some hands on help too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Smiley

P.S. I also just bought my first ever sewing machine and according to Joann's website it should be arriving in 7-10 days from yesterday heh so I am trying to get everything set before it arrives so I'll know what to do with it once it arrives heh

P.S.S.  I don't drive so I have to find a local place Sad  I just realized I didn't mention that, I'm right by the Lincoln Tunnel (on the NJ side heh)

Just noticed my post was moved Sad  Hope someone sees my question and has an answer, I'm still looking for a place that teaches sewing, the place I had in mind originally closed down and so far I have had no luck finding a place close by

Hey amgoth!  Here are some other threads in this board that may help. I'm not very familiar with New Jersey so if they're too far, I apologize!

Thank you!  Yeah, they're too far Sad  I'm in Hudson County, near the Lincoln Tunnel

I walked all over last Saturday and found a place that sometimes offers classes, added my name to her list, now she is waiting for 6 more people to sign up. My mom even signed up lol she'd love to learn to sew and never had a chance to take classes.  There's another place in Hoboken but my mom would have to drive to get us there and there's just nooooooooo parking in Hoboken siiiiigh

Well, maybe I'll get lucky and that lady will have 6 people just sign up suddenly heh

I'll keep looking too, I got lucky with that one lady, maybe there's someone else who offers classes too (crossing fingers and toes heh)

Just a quick update, found a place that offers sewing classes in Hoboken, NJ and they have parking, here's a link to their website Smiley

I've taken two smaller classes with them already and the sewing bootcamp starts October 5th, very excited and very nervous heh
