Hi, my first posting here :-)

Just the other day I bought a new Leatherman Wave multitool with an additional Bit Kit which was fitted into an ugly and bulky leather sheath:

Since I didn't want to use that one, I made my own sheath using green canvas, some strange blue paisley styled silk / brocade, glue and same yarn.

The result looks like this:

The size comparison: my new sheath, the old brown one, the ugly new one and a smaller nylon version for the Bit Set or the Wave alone.

enjoy :-)

That is great!
The sheaths that they come in are so ugly and
the newer ones seem to fall apart pretty quickly.
I think I might make one for an xmas gift.
Thanks!

Thx :-)

Yes, ties are a perfect source for brocade or silk with paisley patterns. The blue brocade used to by my grandma's ball gown....^^

Great job, I carry one of these multitools in my purse in an ugly black pleather cover, thanks for the idea..My son likes to say, only my Mother would carry a wrench around, but I dont know how many times the darn thing has come in handy..

Very nice. I wish I had a Leatherman.
dyabolica you can tell your son that you are not alone. The contents of my purse include a miniature screw driver set, LEDs, and a swiss army knife (though I admit, technically, no wrench)  Smiley.
