Peake is so amazing! Why haven't we had a Peake swap? Or was there one that I missed?

That is an amazing sculpture!

After hearing so much about him, I'm looking into books now.  I must read them!

Here's a test of the digital file.  It still needs a little refining(especially the eyes).  My husband is doing this work, not me, but I'm consulting!  Wink

The Artist looking heroic:

This will be printed at about 11 cm high.

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

Quite a lot of the details in the hair were lost in the digitizing, so we have to reconstruct them in the digital model, an agonizing stressful process because I can see what needs to be done, but have trouble conveying the information to my husband.  I have a lot of emotion wrapped up in the subject and his works and consequently this sculpture; I become so stressed-out working on the reconstruction I get light-headed.  Some crying has occurred.   Cry  My husband is being very patient and won't let me give up.  But it is going to be a long time before this becomes a finished work.    Sad

Art sucks, I prefer craft.  Roll Eyes

We're really struggling to reconstruct this low-quality scan.  Sad  And today the scanning camera broke so we're going to buy a new, much higher quality one, so we're probably going to rescan this sculpture, but that will be weeks or even months from now. All this agony might have been for nothing.  Cry  Except for wanting the finished work to be smaller than the original sculpture, it would be easier to mold and cast the darn thing the old-fashioned way!  Angry

Thank you for your continued interest, those who are following this project!  Kiss
