I want to join too, but what to offer, what to offer...

Would there be any interest in leather bracelets or bookmarks with decorative stitching like these that I did for the Bernina Master Craftster series?  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=408614.0#axzz2bGVdZFyq or http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=408613.0#axzz2bGVdZFyq.  I could make them in wool felt or even vinyl for those less than enthused by leather.

Or I could potentially offer these mother necklaces but folks would have to be okay with cheaper materials...so potentially glass for the beads (although I do have some semi-precious stones; I just don't have the more expensive ones) and I wouldn't be able to afford sterling silver.  I mostly have brass and copper but I could pick up some silver color brass wire and findings.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=400538.0#axzz2bGbd7wiu

I like the leather bracelets! I think the technique that you used for the bookmark would also be really cool for a bracelet!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

The bracelets and bookmarks are awesome!  My sister's been trying to make me get her a leather bracelet out of a swap for ages Smiley

And good to know people are interested in the roll ups!  I'll be offering three of them, but I have four available, so if anyone wants to do a personal swap just let me know.

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

Alrightie it looks like the vote is for leather bracelets and more pointedly using the bookmark technique to make the bracelets!  Heh.  I'll start messing around with some of my leather and fabric scraps.  And again, I can of course make it in vinyl or wool (or eco) felt for those who don't wear leather.  I'll go fill out the questionnaire.  Smiley

PS: Jo_mama, I love the state artwork!

The pencil roll is fabulous too!  My little resident artist would love it!
So much goodness so far in this swap!

I'm putting in a vote as well for the roll-ups!  I love the state/country artwork but I'd feel terrible asking you to mail one to Canada as it would be so expensive.

hey guys, I am rethinking my offering...I am still going to make some sort of basket but it will be much easier to mail...I got killed last time trying to find boxes to mail...I think I can fit a fabric basket into a mailing envelope...and it won't be too heavy...I will make a few up to show you what I mean...

I love the art, too...I wonder if it can be made flat and not on canvas?  I know for some of the art swaps, I used a flat canvas board and mailing was not that bad even to England!

If my hand were not injured, I would definitely be knitting something...maybe next round...
