I have cut out the scrap buckets and unbelievably, I do not have a certain color vinyl!! Looks like a bit of shopping this weekend! Grin

Gator, do you think there will be a Christmas/ornament round of SSS or another regular round before Christmas?

I'll most likely do another sss ornament round this year. Maybe in October so we have time to receive well in time.

Regular rounds of sweat shops tend to take at least 3 months from the start of signups until everyone receives. That would put us at the beginning of November. Then 3 weeks of crafting with sendouts at the end of November if we've lucky. We could either try for that timeline, or do a quicker round with less crafting time because people could craft ahead of time. Whatever people prefer is fine with me.

Great!   Cheesy   I was hoping to get some more ornaments this year!   Smiley

Yeah about the ornament SSS. Since I'm sitting out this round, maybe I'll have time to craft for the November swap. Already have two ideas.

I'm thinking I will offer to make 6 buttons of your choosing for each partner:

Examples of past buttons.

I could also make
knit bamboo or cotton washcloth in the color of your choosing Leaf or Square
Knit tie on Beard
Knit Mustache
Knit Cowl

I think I sent my questionnaire in for this, but have not heard anything yet. If I am accepted I will be making 6 stripey sock monkeys. Slighty funny story about these, I've always wanted to learn to make them but never got round to it. I bought a kit to make one on honeymoon at the beginning of July and made it, I am not very happy with how it came out, but felt it was something I could improve, with that in mind and planning to make for this swap I started one this evening (after finishing mine) I decided to scrap the pattern that came with the kit and do it my way and it is SO much better!! Anyhow ramble over. This is my original, but don't panic as I say the rest are better, will put up a pic of the ones (well one of) I am actually offering as soon as it's finished!

I hadn't twigged how relevant the phrase "Don't Panic" was until I was just telling a friend I've called him Marvin. (Who are the geeks in this swap other than me? Apologies if you don't get what on earth I'm on about!)
