I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

I received, the most Fantastic!!! package from GrannysAnnie today. Seriously, get your pinning fingers ready because she totally out did herself -

Are you ready?

It's a TARDIS!!

(tardis is not crooked in real life - grass is making it sit funny)

Love the thimble light -

Now you are probably thinking the same thing I was - awesome, right? But wait, it gets better. It looks like the doors on the Tardis open... And it looks like there is something inside - something, or someone...

My future husband - uh I mean the 10th Doctor himself!!!  I have turned my whole family into Whovians, and I blame it on craftster. I saw someone make a Tardis a couple years ago, looked up what it was, watched and episode, and well the rest is history. I have also successfully turned GrannysAnnie into one too. She needed to watch an episode to get an idea, and got hooked! Anyways, back to the awesomeness.

And one more just to show how detailed he is -

You can see from my hand he is about a foot tall, and the Tardis is taller!

Thank you so so so much GrannysAnnie. I am seriously rearranging my house so I can find the perfect spot for them to sit and be shown off.

Okay, ready?  Deep breath, there's a lot of awesomeness that will be crammed into this post!

Tenitsu COMPLETELY spoiled me.  Seriously, I can't even believe the amount of work she did!  And that some of it was the first time she'd done it?  Can't tell AT ALL.  So without further ado...

Bellydancing poppets!  Oh yes, they are amazing!  And the details... the gypsy-style ribbons he'd holding, her zills...  This requires some close-ups!  (Unfortunately, not as many as I wanted as apparently something went wonky due to the MOOSE-SIZED BEETLE that was in the light fixture and nearly gave me a coronary... I wish I was kidding, it was... freaky.)

The beading on his pants!  Along with lots of sequins, must have taken ages!  And she tells me she's never done it before?  Natural talent, that's the only explanation for getting it so perfect... I remember my first attempts at beading...  O.o

Her zills - okay, what did you use for these?  Because they are PERFECT.  So. Adorable!

More beading, boobage, and her very pretty necklace!

Ankle bracelet!  See what I mean?  The little details just keep coming!

Her back and very prettily braided hair!  I thought I'd gotten a picture of his back, he has wings tattooed on!

I did, however, get a glut shot of him, so he could show off that they even have underwear!

Seriously, every time I look at them I see something else to oooooh and ahhhh over, and all my friends are properly jealous (but don't worry, I will guard them!  No one is going to sneak off with them!).  Thank you so much, Tenitsu, you are an amazing swap partner.  I hope you think my package is half as good... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
