I have 3 items already finished.  A 4th in progress, and a list.  I always list more than what is required, just in case something doesn't work out.  I have a large, a medium, and a small done.  A medium in progress.  I really should have got my a$$ in gear yesterday, after I was done working in the yard.  But, I didn't, and I couldn't get my crafting mojo on.  Oh well, I will definitely do some crafting today.

Yeah, I have a couple of things done, too.  In fact, last night I wanted to work on one and my husband was like "that stuff's not even due until November; why do you have to keep doing it now?!".  So I showed him my list of everything I have to make before Christmas and he backed off right away, lol.  I may hate doing it, but handling all the gifts and cards for everyone in our family and friend group does have its upside.

And yes - congrats legatostroke!  You didn't ask for advice but I'm going to give a piece of it anyway!  Wink  On the day of, enjoy it.  Expect things to go wrong and know that there will be some stuff that does but as long as you and your significant other and a person who can marry you shows up, that's all you really need!  I've had too many girlfriends that have bad memories when they think about their wedding day because they got mad at their parents or didn't like how their hair was done or whatever.  It truly was one of the happiest days of my life, though, despite several things going "wrong."  Matt showed up, our preacher showed up, we were good to go!  Cheesy

gotgrey<---awesome craftster even when she's out of steam!

I have just started planning and even that hasn't been as much as I want.   I'll just plan to be running behind as usual behind and close to the deadline as usual Smiley

I have my list all made and now I get to start digging through stash. I'm very list meticulous so I am going to break down my crafts and jot down all of the stuff I will need and use for each one. I have a terrible craft storage system so I really only want to surf through it once or twice. I know I really need a better system..... Still, I will see what I have, then, whatever I need to get, and on Tuesday I can go craft shopping (isn't that the most fun kind anyway?) I know I have enough in my dragon hoard stash to already get a bunch of stuff done, but I'm pretty certain I'm out of a few of the crafting necessities. Hooray for getting started!!

trust me, it's purely logical.  i work as a freelance grant writer and non-profit development consultant and this is the slow season for grants.  they will pick back up in October-ish with a BANG so I have to have everything for this, other swaps, a bunch of family birthdays (including my husband's) and Christmas pretty much done by then!

I'm rather bleary eyed right now after working on a large today. It's taken about 4'ish hours already, but it is looking great so far (at least I hope Audania1 thinks so!!) I need to get some extra items to finish it all up, then it will be ready. I probably won't get the items today though, so will work on a smaller gift for now.

got grey - I like to have some additional backup ideas too. Just in case something doesn't turn out quite right then there is another idea there that I don't have to scramble for.

Legatostroke - are you going to be doing any crafting for your wedding? Weddings are so exciting to look forward to Smiley

I've started on a small item for my partner.  I'm still also in the collecting ideas stage, so the list will definitely grow as I go.  I'm participating in a craft show in November, so those items are in process as well.  I'm glad we have so much crafting time!
