I had quite a few plastic Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, and Frozen Juice containers that I wanted to do something with instead of adding to the landfill. So, I thought, why not plant a mini-garden on my steps using them as planters!!?Huh

This is what I did:


Poked drain holes in the bottom:



Sanded the plastic to give the paint something to grab onto:



Then painted them with some enamel I had hanging around the basement then let it dry really well:



Then Bingo! A little micro garden on my steps which cost me almost nothing to do:)

Lovely mini-garden. So bright and colourful. It can be a good idea to make a hole in the bottom to surplus water.
