I claim rockmygypsysoul for a Pinterest surprise.
(I'm going to try my hand at something new, so if it doesn't work out, I can just find something else. Grin)

4/0/3 i think?

Okay, it's getting closer and closer to Christmas, so I am getting excited! I have a board for "christmas swaps", feel free to craft from that, as we threw out ALL of our christmas decorations when we moved! I am adding some gifts to my list that I would like some help with, so please feel free to claim those! (I know I like crafting more for the craftster member, I dont know if anyone else is the same way)

ABOUT ME:
I am 25 years old, and I live near St. Louis, MO. I have a 2 year old daughter, and a boyfriend of 4 years. I go to school full time for Graphic Design with one year left. I am very crafty and don't stick to a particular method, so it's hard to pinpoint my expertise. I am an intermediate crocheter, I paint, draw, sculpt, assemble, yada, yada. I am always looking for sewed items, as that's the one crafting method I havent tried yet.

For my Pinterest, go here: http://pinterest.com/breegy/
For my WISHLIST Pinterest, go here: http://pinterest.com/craftsterbreegy/
For my wists go here: http://www.wists.com/breegy

Likes:
I like chevron, stripes, india inspired designs, bold shapes, and antiqued designs/styles. (I have an album.)
I like bold, dark, jewel, and fall tones. My favorite colors are coral and mustard yellow.
Owl anything!
Alien anything! (the little green guys, not the movies)
Lavender, Hippy, and Coffee scents
Dangly earrings
Everything nerdy
Turquoise (the mineral, not particularly the color)
Anything wearable and leather (I'm a leather jacket and combat boots kinda girl)
Anything from the following fandoms in ALWAYS welcome: Star Wars, Star Trek, Firefly, Merlin, The Guild, Supernatural, Harry Potter, or Community.

Dislikes:
Purples, neon colors, blues.
Useless, cluttering stuff.
Fruit scents and minty scents
Anything super girly
Any design you'd find in a grandma's house. Butterflies, asian influences, dragonflies, realistic flowers, pretty much anything that goes along with that "peace, unity, and love" trend. Although, I DO enjoy tie-dye in dark colors.
(if you're unsure, just ask. Cheesy)

I have no allergies that I know of, and hopefully I don't find out about them from your swaps!

THINGS ON MY SUPER-DUPER WANT LIST ARE IN BOLD!
Click Me for my Wishlist Pinterest!

WISHLIST:
SEWING:
A camera strap! (a patterned, stylish fabric, preferably)
Throw Pillows in off white, tan, brown, light/dark grey, or mustard yellow (Sending without filling is OKAY, I am capable of stuffing and sewing the bottoms up myself. [: ) Lots of inspiration on styles here.
Oven mits (red, black, and/or white in the theme of owls preferably)
Mug rugs (see my Pinterest board for inspirations)
A fabric cigarette case for myself. (and if they are easy to make, maybe a second one for my mother-in-law Wink)
Harry Potter Kindle Cover I would actually LOVE this as a Merlin.
Buntings. There are loads of them on this board.
A remote holder like this. In yellow, white, brown, tan, and/or grey. Designs are okay.
Super hero masks for my autistic little brother. In Sonic, Spiderman, Batman, original Pokemon, and Dragonball Z(maybe have saiyan hair attached?). He is very particular about his cartoons (his eye for detail is amazing), so please try and get the designs as much like the character as possible. He is also 20, so it's not for a child's head.
Travel Trashbag for my car (brown, tan, and light blue)
Draft Blockers. (I can fill them myself) Color combos on the link.
A car organizer maybe with a few extra spots for small toy figurines and crayons. In tan/brown/light blue colors, preferably.
An activity holder in red, white, and/or black. Designs are okay, owls a plus. =)

KNITTED/CROCHETED:
Size 8 (or 8 1/2) house slippers (I love the elf ones, and the fitted two tone ones)!
This awesome hat!
Amigurumi Viking in Purple and Yellow (minnesota vikings) for my father.
My daughter would love this hello kitty scarf. I know i have seen a free HK granny square pattern somewhere, so it's not necessary to buy this pattern.
Yo Gabba Gabba Mittens. Seriously, my daughter saw me pinning these and went apeshit.

OTHER MEDIUMS:
A crochet needle holder (this can be any medium)
Hoopla art (many ideas here.)
Zombie gnome
Moving Mountains sign. inspired by or replica of this one. the color is perfect.
A door hanger that says "hi". I really have no spectacular ideas for this, honestly. I just want it to match my door mat
A decorated recipe box (in red/white/black, and owl themed)
A Pinky Pie (My Little Pony) shirt. Size 2t or 3t, please.
A surprise for a 2 year old (she's advanced for her age, though). Shirts, toys, activity sets, figurines, dolls, etc. She LOVES Pinky Pie from My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, The Color Crew, Muno/Plex from Yo Gabba Gabba, and turtles! Get creative!
THIS phone case. I have an HTC Evo though.
Fandom figurines! (Plush, clay, or any other medium)
My Little Pony Tail?
Yo Gabba Gabba nesting dolls
Some bunting cards to send with my swaps.
Baseball bracelets. I would need 12 for my softball team. I know that's a lot, but they seem really easy to make. I just don't have access to 6 baseballs. (used and old balls are totally okay! and make sure one bracelet is a little larger, we have a big guy.)
A stuffed turtle. This can be crocheted, knitted, or sewn. I have several examples on my pinterest. (inspired or exact)
Felted dryer balls

SURPRISE FROM MY PINTEREST:
ANYTHING goes on this pinterest. Inspired or exact! Also, I LOVE surprises!
Click Me!

SUPPLIES: (I am okay with used)
NOTE: I'm not really that interested in supplies this round unless it's yarn, or bolded.
Yarn (I would love some natural fibers, but it's not necessary! thin in any color but white. super chunky in any colors. need aqua, reds, fleshtones,  greys, yellows, and purple in worsted. no supersavers, please)
Crochet counters and needles
(I need a bigger hook than N for rugs and baskets)
T-Shirt yarn in any colors. (My next planned project is a large grey & yellow basket though)
Acrylic Paint (any colors)
Embroidery thread holders
Shrinky dink
Permanent markers (preferably double ended)
Perler beads
Peg people
Metal Stamping Kit
Stamp making Kit
Nesting doll blanks

Black and assorted safety eyes (I have none, so anything is better than nothing)
Baker's Twine(the swirly pretty stuff. Wink)
Old ornaments (for me to decorate myself)
Scrapbook Paper (there are SOME examples here, otherwise just go by this board for inspiration)

EXTRAS:
A magnet from your location
A printable or two =)
A bag of your favorite tea.
Sugarfree Gum. Preferably a fruity flavor as opposed to minty. My daughter LOVES chewing gum. (I know, a 2 year old gum chewer. Weird, right?)

Coffee flavored anything.
Soda can pop tabs!
If you're overseas,  brown sauce! =)

I claim AMIFRIENDS for an amigurumi surprise! (If you aren't a fan of surprises let me know and I can tell you what I'm planning on making, but otherwise I'd like it to be a surprise.)

1/0/0

My name's Marci. This is my first time participating in the ongoing wish swap, and I'm really excited! I'm a college student in Joplin, MO studying TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with the intent to become an English teacher in Japan after college. I'm an animation addict and an avid reader, with just a little bit of gamer thrown in as well.

My main crafts are crochet, art, and embroidery, but I do a little bit of everything from time to time. This year is the second year in a row that I'm crocheting my entire Halloween costume (a project I like to refer to as Yarnoween): last year I did Rapunzel from Tangled and this year I'll be doing Zelda from the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

I've never been big into Pinterest, but if you're looking for inspiration for the things I like, you can check out my tumblr at spindlesplinters.tumblr.com as most of the stuff I reblog there are things I love or find funny.

I just absolutely love receiving things people have put time and effort into making especially for me, which is why I love swaps so much!

General info about my tastes:
I'm a huge nerd, so I'm always happy to get something fandom related. Some fandoms I love are Disney (especially Gravity Falls, Tangled, and Wreck-It Ralph), Doctor Who, Legend of Zelda, How to Train Your Dragon, Teen Titans (the cartoon network show more so than the comics), My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Percy Jackson, and Fullmetal Alchemist. I haven't listed many of my book fandoms here because most people haven't heard of a lot of them, but you're certainly welcome to ask about them if it helps you out! Or if you would just like a more extensive list of fandoms I love, PM me, because I genuinely could easily name 100+ fandoms I wouldn't mind having crafty representation of.

I like pretty much any colors, especially grey, and am especially fond of wool when it comes to knitted/crocheted wearables.

I'm allergic to garlic, of all things, and the smell of oranges gives me migraines. Preference-wise, I love the smell of peppermint, apples, or strawberries.

I'm okay with surprises, especially since I'm not super picky in my wishes!

Sewing/Needlework:
~Any hoopla is always welcome! I decorate my dorm room with hoopla and artwork! Especially of interest to me would be fairy-tale themed works. Ooh, or Princess Bride would be great!
~I'd love a sleeve or cover for my Nook. I have a first-edition Nook (the old ones with nothing particularly special about them).
~Project bags for my crocheting or hook/notion organizers are always welcome.
~I like purses and bags

Knitted/Crocheted:
~I collect amigurumi, so literally any ami would make me super happy! The Eleventh Doctor or Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon would be list-toppers right now if you want a specific idea.
~Any 6x6 afghan blocks (acrylic yarn only, please!)
~I love wearing hats of all sorts, so hats are good.

Misc/Open to more than one media:
~I like tea mugs, if there's anyone out there who makes/decorates that sort of thing.
~Wall art of any sort is great
~I would be interested in little clay (polymer or otherwise) figures of various characters I like. I'd especially be interested in characters from books I've read (not listed in my fandom list above, for the most part) or my own original characters, so if you're interested in doing either of those let me know and I can get a description of said characters.
~Any hats at all make me happy!
~Hair accessories such as bows or flowers are also fantastic!
~I have a thing for plushies of any sort in addition to my love for amigurumi, so any plush would make my day!
~I like blankets a lot, big or small
~Customized fashion dolls (or my little ponies!) are fun too
~Homemade soap
~Any sort of homemade musical instrument/noisemaker is fun!
~I do Disneybounding, so any fun little accessories for such outfits are great
~Anything with Japanese theme/kanji; I'm planning to teach English in Japan after college and just love the culture
~Fandom-themed T-shirts (I wear a unisex Medium and don't really like girly-fit tees)
~If you get the urge to craft something fandom-related that doesn't directly pertain to my crafty wish list, that's probably perfectly okay too! I don't wear a lot of jewelry, though, outside of Disneybounding (which I do participate in for non-Disney characters as well). I especially would love anything Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword or Gravity Falls related.

Supplies: (I'm open to leftovers and such)
~Fabric quarters and scraps
~Yarn, especially wool or acrylic. When it comes to acrylic, I have some preferences right now:
-Caron Simply Soft in Light Country Peach (used for amigurumi skin)
-Red Heart Super Saver in Cornflower (used for my Halloween costume wig)
but really any color or type of yarn is perfectly fine by me, although I'm not incredibly fond of fun fur.
~Long, flexible-cabled tunisian/afghan crochet hooks
~Crochet stitch markers
~Embroidery floss
~Sketchbooks or sketch paper
~Acrylic paints (either for craft or art), especially white and fleshtones
~If anyone knows of a good air-dry clay for sculpting little figurines and such, that's something I've been trying to find
~epoxy putty
~Crochet patterns
~I really love those fun little art inspiration books you can find at craft stores, especially the ones pertaining to fantasy settings and western cartooning
~transfer pens
~Mechanical pencils. Especially if anybody knows of light blue mechanical pencil lead!
~Fun and unique buttons/shawl pins
~Fun duct tape
~Felt in peach, beige, and/or tan tones

Extras:
~Tea is always great, especially loose leaf. I'm not a big fan of chai but I'll drink anything else
~Candy/chocolate. As with scents, peppermint and strawberry are two of my favorite flavors, and I love chocolate with pretzels/salt in it. I do, however, hate coconut.
~If you're from somewhere outside of the US, I'd love any snack/treat that you have in your country that's not available here!
~I also collect foreign coins, so that's an idea.
~Books. I love to read, and love to get new recommendations from others. I especially love children's/young adult fantasy, especially if based on fairy-tales, and am not a fan of paranormal romance, most nonfiction (unless humorous), or anything with particularly explicit content.

Thanks so much in advance for choosing me! If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask!

Cheesy Hi!  My name is Barbara (aka-LadybugsAndBumblebees), and this is my first OWS swap!  I'm so excited! I am married to a wonderful man who supports my crafting; and am blessed to be mom to three terrific kids-DS age 19, DD age 11, and DD age 9.  We live in New York.

I am doing this swap mainly in hopes of receiving items to give as gifts to family, friends, and co-workers, as well as items to use in my classroom; but am open to receiving anything that anyone would like to claim me for!

My Pinterest link is:  http://pinterest.com/LdybgGrl, and my wist link is:  http://wists.com/MissBarbara.  (The links are also in my signature.)  I also have a HUGE, detailed Craftster profile that has both information about me and also what I would like to receive as far as gifts for other people.

I would LOVE to receive anything from my:  'What I Would Love To Receive For My Craftster Swaps' board, 'Please Make Me A Gift For...' board, and 'Ideas For My Classroom' board. (Please feel free to make items that I can use with the students in the classroom...I have the ideas/items pinned, but probably won't ever get around to making them myself!)     Roll Eyes

Feel free to use the other boards for inspiration, and to check my Craftster profile for additional information.

WISHES FOR ME:
-A shirt in size 2x that says:  Inked & Awesome
-Jewelry (necklaces need to be longer for me, bracelets are best if they are adjustable)
-Something that says:  O'hana.  It means family.  It means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.  O'hana.
-Decorated headbands (The hard, U shaped ones, please.  And nothing too outlandish...I'm a teacher...)
-Home spun, home dyed yarn
-Lanyard for my work ID (I like to match these to my outfit for the day, so more than one is welcome!) (Or even a few for my co-workers for holiday time gifts would be great!)
-Yarn pom-poms in every color for use in my classroom.  (Please make sure they are VERY sturdily made, as they will be being used by 15 preschoolers!   Wink
-Chair covers for the backs of two chairs.  (Please PM me for measurements.)
-Seat covers for two chairs.  (Please PM me for measurements.)
-Gift tags
-homemade paper gift bows

WISHES FOR MY HUSBAND:
-Anything bug related...he's an exterminator    Grin  (Just nothing with spiders or praying manitses on them...he doesn't like them.)
-Change holder that can be put in his car...I have no idea how this would work...any ideas?  (It would have to be something that didn't spill while driving.)
-A shirt in size 4-5x that says:  Real Men Marry Teachers
-Crocheted dodo bird
-Crocheted mouse

WISHES FOR MY CHILDREN:
-An earbud holder that is on a keyring (I would love one for DS and one for DD.)
-Decorated headbands (the hard, U-shaped ones, please) for DD.
-Lip balm bandolier for DD.
-Nintendo DS holder/bag/?? for DD.
-Aprons for both DDs.  (Please PM me for the needed measurements.)
-Nautical themed rope bracelet with anchor closure for DS.
-Bow ties for DS.
-A hoopla that says:  I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, forever and ever, my baby you'll be. (For DS)
-Cloth napkins to be used in lunch boxes for school for DDs.  (Not too big, please.)
-Cloth snack bags to be used in lunch boxes for school for DDs.
-Anything 'Minecraft' themed (a computer game) for either or both of my DDs.

I am fine with receiving "supply only" packages.  Things I could use are:
-regular Sharpie markers in any/all colors  (black ones are the most needed for my classroom)
-the Sharpie markers you use to write on cups/plates/etc...that don't wash off after being baked in the oven
-black pens
-mechanical pencils
-yarn (new please-acrylic is fine, just please NO wool or fun fur)
-I need two dollar store shoe holders (the ones that hang over the back of a door) (where the openings are on the top, not the sides)  ( I need them for organization in my classroom...not shoes!)    Grin
-fabric (Scraps are fine, as long as they are not teeny-tiny.)
-whimsies
-scissors (Both for adults and children-they get lost QUICK in this house!      Tongue
-pocketbook handles
-colored pencils
-seed beads in any/all colors
-well made pencil pouch (i.e.-no plastic ones, please) that has any of my fav. themes on it (I need it to hold my sewing supplies in my crafting bag and the one I have is getting a hole in it.)
-appliques for me to attach to projects I made (any and all subjects are fine)
-zippers (any and all colors are fine, as well as any and all sizes)
-dollar store metal cookie trays (I use them for many things in my classroom)

EXTRAS:
-postcards from where you live (2 would be great, I use one for home and one for my classroom)
-a map of your town (My 11yo DD LOVES maps!)
-sugar free/fat free snacks
-aquaphor lip balm

*I am unable to take and post photos.  If the person who claims me could do so, it would be MUCH appreciated!*

*I do not have allergies, but everyone else in my home has slight allergies.  I can receive from someone who has a pet(s) as long as the craft/supplies is kept away from the pet.  Please do not claim me if you smoke or have smokers in your home. There are NO allergens in my home.*

I claim ladybugsandbumblebees for a Love You Forever hoop!
My name is Cindy. I am 36, and I live in Wisconsin with my husband (Kirk), seven-year-old son (Nolan) and two orange and white kitties (Oscar and Frodo). Nolan is autistic, and Kirk left his job in the dying newspaper industry to stay home with him three years ago. I work in a cubicle 40 hours a week. This is my first ongoing swap of any type!

I love bold/bright colors, birds (all kinds... backyard song birds, owls, chickens, flamingos...), humor, coffee, the 80's and my boy. He loves music, banjos, sharks and other fish, swinging/running/jumping, pickles, potato chips, pillows and blankets.

My pinterest is huge, so there are plenty of ideas there as well... www.pinterest.com/nolansmomster

Hooplas-- I am starting a wall of hoops and even other small craftster art... Nolan tends to be in everything, so cuteness is safest on the walls in our house.

Fun shirts for Nolan-- I tend to dress Nolan in novel shirts or anything that says "awesome" (which is one of very few words that he uses). Size 10 or 12ish

Skirts for me-- I love skirts... Anything with an elastic waist or Jersey knit that isn't crazy short... there are about a billion of them on my Wearable pinterest board. XL please.

Fabric or yarn bins or buckets for storage (I can put any size or shape to use)... I think I have some of these pinned too

Headbands (fabric please) or hair scarves

Pretty scarves (rather than warm scarves)

Wall art that says something about being awesome (like "don't forget to be awesome" or the house rules with "be awesome" or whatever else you might come up with)

Bath mats or other small  rugs

Any musical instrument type toy for Nolan

Jewelry storage-- Nolan is obsessed with chains and strings, so I have no good way to store my jewelry- especially necklaces... ideally, I would have a space that is easy to access while still being hidden from the view of busy hands. I have a small jewelry armoire, but it isn't inaccessible so he is always in it. thanks A2K!

Anything Wisconsin, autism or puzzle piece themed

A wreath or other decoration for the front door that is relatively weather proof

Small bird feeder to entertain the cats (especially the lazy one)

Leg warmers

Cross-body tote bag or purse

Anything with the laughing Buddha (for my mother)-- she doesn't have a ton of extra space, so practical, wall-mounted or small would be ideal

Anything Hanson (yes... Mmmmbop Hanson)

Small fidget-type toys for Nolan

Supplies-- used or scraps are totally fine:
Beeswax
Lip balm tubes or pots
Candy flavoring (like LorAnn)
Burlap coffee bags
spools of tulle
Double fold bias tape, ric rac or other trim
Tiny jars or tins (baby food or pimento sized jars or wedding favor sized tins)
Jersey Knit fabric
Polar fleece type fabric
Quilting-weight cotton
Weighted stuffing/ poly pellets
Elastic
Wired ribbon
Spiral bound sketch book
Books or magazines-- loom knitting, sewing, felting, misc... used is perfectly fine

Thank you!

I claim Nolansmomster for fabric headbands and some supplies

5/0/3

My name is Robin and I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner Phil and our inquisitive and imaginative 5 year old daughter Aria Jae.  When Im not crafting or hanging out with the family, Im probably teaching, doing research, or attempting to make some progress on my dissertation.  I love fantasy novels and comics, steampunk and gibbous fashions, and boots...I love boots.  A good place to get a feel for my color/pattern/style preferences for fabric is here - http://pinterest.com/rlynn/fabric-love/.    Okay, except for the squirrels, elephants, robots, and skulls (those would be more for my daughter).  But in general I like jewel and earthy tones, I'm really digging on mustard yellow and turquoise, grays, army green and khaki, and rust red.  I personally wear a lot of black, gray, and brown.  My daughter loves My Little Pony Friendship is Magic (her favorite is Pinkie Pie), animals, science, and exploring the wilderness.  She is a mix of girly girl and rough tough little pioneer lass.  She climbs mountains in her boots on the weekends and does pirouettes in ballet slippers during the week.  Wink

Pantaloons like this http://pinterest.com/pin/68468856808139433/.  Love the color, would also love black/gray thin stripes, black, gray, or brown. Its a huge wish, I know.

Any clothing for little Miss Ariashe loves dresses, skirts, and pantaloons.  Check out my pinterest board for ideas - http://pinterest.com/rlynn/aria-clothing/. (Size 5)

Custom stenciled or applique tees for Aria.  Good themes are animals (especially elephants), MLP, Care Bears, Superheroes (Mostly Marvel - Spiderman AND Avengers - she likes Loki quite a bit as well as Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and Wasp AND X-men - Rogue, Domino, Wolverine and her lone DC favorite is Batman), Dinosaur fossils, human anatomy, volcanoes, rainbows, galaxy inspired (especially Saturn).  (Size 5)

Car pillow for Aria

Seat Belt cover for Aria

Assorted doll/stuffed animal diapers in various sizes.

Clothing for my adorable and spunky little niece Evelyn.  She is 3 months old so probably 3-6 month or bigger in size.  My sister would like to avoid pink and girly themes.  Sis is a computer geek so something related to such geekery might be kind of fun.

Sewn Mama/Luna Pads (whatever the heck they are called) for me.  I have two and I seriously need more.

Little waterproof pouches with snaps for the pads so I have something to put them in when Im out and about.

Pot holders, the square or the glove kind, but with the insulation stuff to keep my hands safe please I have no kitchen theme or really preferences beyond general color likes/dislikes. ~Thanks Kartiana!

I claim rlynn for a reversible button cowl. Smiley

2nd claim / 0 sent / 0 received

Hello, Im Kirsten, I live in New Zealand. I have had quite a long break from swapping (just life) and it's so great to be back in OWS - it's been ages!!

I love art and I like to do drawing, painting and printmaking. I finally finished studying and got a permanent job starting in October.

Colours: particularly blue/green/teal/aqua, natural tones, greys, or black and white; not so keen on pastels and pinks/purples (though dusty/dull shades can be nice).
Metals: silver, copper or antiqued finishes.
Fabrics: plainish and textured rather than very patterned. Natural linen, monochromatic prints rather than very multi-coloured. Some styles I particularly like are mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Japanese (but not kawaii). I really like the combination of natural linen and bright fabrics.

I dont have any allergies. I prefer natural fibres, but not exclusively.

I like simple and arty things, I dont really like very cutesy things much. I have a wist that will give you a really good idea of the sorts of things I like inspired by rather than exact copies is great. http://wists.com/jemimah
I have also just started a Pinterest, but there's not much on it yet - I will add a link once there's some stuff to look at.

Big wishes in bold (if that's helpful), but anything on the list is welcome. Thank you for picking me!!

CRAFTS

SEWN
* sewing ideas
* set of placemats and/or table napkins machine washable please.
* a pockety project bag I always have several projects on the go, different styles and sizes all welcome
* organiser things (e.g. project holder, thing for storing small supplies and bits) any size. Some ideas in wist, but other styles are good too.
* cushion covers - no need to send the inner, just mail unstuffed for easy postage. I could really use some nice cushion covers in natural linen colour, cream, or rust. Standard square size is good (e.g. 40cm x 40cm) with a zipper or button closure. Maybe a couple of plain ones or one decorated one would be a medium claim?
* fabric buckets are great! I like them quite big (grocery bag size, or even bigger), but you don't need to put interfacing or padding/batting in them, so they can fold up flat for easy posting. They don't need to be fancy, plain and sturdy is fine. Short handles are useful, but not essential. Small size is good too if thats easier.
* paint brush/art tools roll or folder/holder thing
* mug rug

YARN/FELT RELATED
* hand dyed or hand spun yarn
* handknitted wool socks (womens size 9-10, any colour) (I know, this is a big one!)
* if youre interested in knitting something, these are some things I want in my ravelry faves (I dont necessarily want all the other things in my ravelry faves though ) ravelry wants there are some smaller things like hats and mitts in there, and a couple of crochet things too (http://www.ravelry.com/people/jemimahNZ/favorites?q=crochet&view=). Some good colours for knits dull denim blue, dull greyish rose, chartreuse, rich or dull red (not too orange-y or dark please), teal, blue-ish purple.
* wisty things made of felt or felted wool

PAPER RELATED
* stationery notecards or paper, its all good (bonus points for Star Trek or Dr Who theme!)
* stationery ideas

OTHER CRAFTS
* airbrushed art on fabric - on a plain piece of fabric for me to make something with - dalek, retro sci-fi, robot army
* handmade ceramic item, esp. in celadon green (but any colours are good) ceramic ideas coffee mug, little bowl, something useful
* hair sticks/ hair comb not too girly please, see wist
* polyclay or ceramic buttons - a variety of sizes/colours/textures would be great!

VARIOUS CRAFTY POSSIBILITIES

* a Star Trek or Doctor Who thingy, whatever you like to make, my faves are Spock, tardis and daleks. (Useful rather than decorative is usually my preference, but any Spock, tardis, or dalek item that lands in my letterbox will find a home). Some ideas Tardis journal; daleks on anything; Spock stationery, journal. Great Spock pattern here
* things to put other things in box, organiser, project holder, stationery folder etc. always welcome
* protective folder to store artwork in A4 or A3 would be great
*  cool/or fun/or vintage-y/or modern pendants, buttons, or brooches, in any medium - metal, fabric, ceramic, polyclay. (I love jewellery and have a silly amount of it already, so I would probably use these for other creative purposes, e.g. embellishing purses, books, home decor things - so a few fun bits and pieces would be better for me than something very precious Smiley)

* or a wisty surprise - http://wists.com/jemimah

CRAFT SUPPLIES (many of these things are VERY expensive here, more than 2x US prices)

* real silk for embroidery, any colours, any brand, any type its hideously expensive where I live (its probably not that cheap where you live, but I bet its cheaper than here! a very small envelope will be cheap to post, and will make me very happy).
(A few OWSers have sent me silk, and I <3 it all! Thank you!)
* interesting embroidery supplies (please stick with quality over quantity, Id much rather have a tiny envelope with a few lovely skeins/little things than lots of cheap floss/beads, and it's also cheaper for postage!) The sort of stuff I like is DMC, anything silk or linen, Au Ver Soie, Japanese stuff, bits for goldwork (purl, kid, etc.), handmade/hand dyed, quirky things. Vintage/second hand is fine.  No Aida please.
* Noro yarn (especially Taiyo, especially greens or blues/purples), other silk/luxury yarn, artisan yarn (I have a great local source for good wool yarns, so while I love that too, its not worth you mailing it to me Smiley)
* stainless steel yarn like this or this
* bamboo circs (I have quite a few sizes in metal and plastic, but no bamboo. Long cables best, but any welcome.)
* nice cotton or linen fat quarters or fat eighths - there's heaps of wisted fabric I like to give you some ideas.
* nice paper - e.g handmade, japanese, printmaking, watercolour, textured, any colour or weight - it's for art and printmaking, so plain rather than patterned is best.
* small art supplies items:-
     - pencils, markers and pens (Prismacolor/Derwent/Caran D'Ache/Posca for example, or similar artist grade things think quality rather than quantity, just a few nice things would be fab! and cheap to mail). Derwent Inktense pencils/sticks.
     - peel and sketch charcoal pencils
     - drypoint etching supplies (roulette, plastic for etching)
     - inkpads, little stencils, stamps, etc.
     - MaimeriBlu watercolours
* thick stampcarving material (I have the tools, but the only stuff to carve I can easily find here is lino and small erasers)
* 100% wool felt, eco felt < Ive never seen eco felt available here (I have stacks of ordinary synthetic felt already though)
* DMC StitchBow floss holders - just the gold coloured sticks (I have plenty of the plastic pockets to put them in) I always need these!
* small sewing supplies rickrack, bias binding, cotton tape/ribbon, grosgrain
* I would particularly love some of this b&w cat fabric, this gorgeous fabric, or plain linen or wool fabric (natural, grey, green, blue). Also wool doctors flannel (for needlebooks, only need smallish pieces), if its easily available where you live.
* crafty magazines Burda or Anna (either English or German), Vogue Knitting, Verena, or any awesome US sewing/knitting mag.
* I'd love to get these knitting patterns (no postage costs to buy patterns online either!) thanks rlynn! Smiley (need to knit some of these now before I put patterns back on the list)

EXTRAS
* I love vintage/interesting buttons, ribbons, cord etc.
* no candy (too expensive to ship, and I really don't need it!)

NB. New Zealand has tough biosecurity at the border. This is very unlikely to apply to this swap, but just in case ... Please dont send natural materials (feathers, leaves, wood, seeds e.g. lavender, etc.) Everything on my list is absolutely fine to send, but PM me if youre unsure about something. Thanks  Smiley

I claim jemimah for some stationery and jewelry bits  Smiley

4/2/1

**I have added a few new items to my list**

Hi all!  This is my first go-round so be patient with me!  I am 31, I live in Texas (USA), and my household is me, my husband, and our two puppies.  We do have lots of family, including 10 nieces and nephews (one is on the way!).  I love handmade gifts but really struggle with men and boys, so anything in that vein is particularly awesome they will be noted as (for the husband/dad/nephews/brothers/etc)!  Since we do have a lot of family, many ideas will be noted that I will take from one to however many is the maximum - obviously, whatever someone wants to do would be awesome.  I'm not saying I NEED 5, just that they can be claimed more than once, lol!

No major allergies but if there are any, they will be noted below.

I am totally good with a surprise from my Pinterest or Wists:
I also have a wist http://wists.com/rockmygypsysoul and a pinterest (which is where much of this comes from) http://pinterest.com/lutmerjm/swap-y-stuff-i-wish-i-could-do-that/ and those are totally free game.

Plus if you just think of something, especially something for the guys, that's awesome, too!

Crafted wishes:

- Simple dino hoodie http://pinterest.com/pin/277604764501767484/ (for nephew #3 - size 8 or so)
- Duffles with name similar to http://pinterest.com/pin/277604764504260846/ (nephews are Michael, Jacob, and Patrick and colors don't matter as long as they aren't feminine although red would be ideal for Michael)
- Ruffle pillow like http://pinterest.com/pin/277604764502192543/ in white, red, teal, and/or yellow
- Flower pillow like http://pinterest.com/pin/277604764503942926/ in any bright and happy color!

I claim rockmygypsysoul for a monkey hooded towel

3rd claim this month, 2 shipped, 2 received

HI! I'm Summer from Texas. I am mom to 3 amazing boys 13, 8, & 8. We live on a ranch outside of Houston that has been in my DH's family for over 150 years. We raise and breed cattle and my sons show cattle all over the state of Texas.

Like most moms today I try to do everything! I work at a local church as the Director of Children's ministry, sit on the twins elementary school PTO, volunteer in scouts, and run around like a chicken with my head cut off. I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing, jewelry making, and various other hobbies. Hobby Lobby is my favorite store - I have memorized the layout, and frequent it often Smiley I am a diehard LSU fan - we bleed purple & gold in our home, and when we are home on a Saturday in the fall, you can be guaranteed that college football will be on the TV!

Here's my wish list

I claim texscrapper for four keychains (1 'lucky us' and 3 'I have a fabric problem')

5/2/1

Sewn and/or Embroidered
- Felt tree and star similar to http://pinterest.com/pin/277604764504258896/   I can make the ornaments if need be but the tree and star are beyond my ability!  I actually would take up to 5 of these!
- Dopp kit similar to http://pinterest.com/pin/277604764504261226/  Pretty much any "manly" color or print would be great and I can take from 1 up to 10 of these.  literally.  (for husband/dads/brothers/nephews/etc)
- Pajama pants.  (for husband - size XXXL or 2-3x with NE Patriots fabric, for FIL - size L with vintage cars or tractors, for nephew 1 - size M or L in Steelers fabric, for nephew 2 - size 10-12 M with chess pieces or camo-type, for nephew 3 - size 8 with camo-type)

- A dog leash or jacket indicating that Gus is deaf
