I love Ottobre magazines & have made several things for my son.  However, I can measure him at any given time (assuming he will hold still Wink ).  My cousin's wife is pregnant & I'd like to make them some clothes in the 9 month - 12 month old size range.  They live in Idaho where weather is seasonal, so I really would like to "time the sizing" correctly (allowing for the fact that children grow at different rates yada yada).  I have a pattern I like that comes in sizes 62 - 92 cm.  Does anyone have any idea on how to convert this over to "American sizing?"  Based on my son's size, I gather that the 92 is nearish a 24 month size, but I don't really have a clue below that since I didn't start sewing for him until he was a toddler.  I found a chart online, but it seems a little off based on where my son is.  I'm thinking I should make a 74 cm...?

I am collecting cotton Hawaiian fabric scraps for a quilt if you wanted to send any my way!

My almost 7yr old wears a size 98 or 104, sometimes with some length added.   He wears a 4T in store clothes.
