I'm a Craftster BEST OF 2013 Winner!

In a recent art envelope swap, I created this envelope. I painted, collaged, inked, stamped, and then did it all again! I used a piece of kraft paper, drew an envelope template on it then went to work. The hardest part is waiting for all the layers to dry (it was very humid when I was making this) so I could do the next step. I just kept going until I was happy. Then cut it out, glued, addressed and mailed.
To be eligible for mailing at the price for letters, a piece must be:
    Rectangular
At least 3-1/2 inches high x 5 inches long x 0.007 inch thick.
No more than 6-1/8 inches high x 11-1/2 inches long x 1/4 inch thick.

Then, because no mail art envelope stands alone, I make a set of notecards and envelopes to travel along.

(Last photo is from my swap partner...thanks!)
