I would love to start a swap based on inchie houses!

Some of the best examples I've seen, were ones made by Phizzychick Cheesy
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=313936.0

Craftster members Sarcastra and Avesthel have each provided templates for these tiny houses (or if you wish, it's easy enough to draft your own pattern)!

Sarcastra's Template
Avesthel's Template

Rather than shipping complete houses, we will be shipping flat so that our partners can assemble them (yes, flat...in regular envelopes)!

And since one house seems lonely, I'm thinking about doing this in groups of 4 (so that means you'll commit to making 3 houses and receive 3 in return).

Thoughts?

I think it sounds like a lovely idea, and making three sounds about right.

i would definitely like to see more than just one tiny house in my craftroom!
and to keep things less restrictive, i think i'd prefer to let it be an artist's choice type of swap Smiley
hopefully, there will be enough interest...or it'll just be me and you in the swap!  i guess that'll work too Grin

Any ideas when this might happen?  Though it seems small enough to squeeze in amongst everything else....  Tongue

So I'm trying to visualize this in my mind...  I understand that the houses are going to be sent flat for easy shipping.  So I would print out a template onto... blank paper?  Cardstock I'm guessing, for stability?  And then I would decorate the template with papers, ephemera, etc, so that when the receiver constructs the house, everything is oriented in the right direction?

    vincentvanbuck!  hello again Smiley

yep, you're spot on about how we're gonna make these houses Smiley

of course, you may also opt to construct the houses out of other cardstock materials if you're handy with drafting the pattern directly onto said cardstock materials!
