My doll, Astrid, wanted to dress up for Ren Fest.  I'm obsessed with the video game Skyrim, so I figured it would be adorable to dress her up as the kajiit dragonborn.  I used studded armor for my inspiration.

For those of you who don't know what the heck I'm talking about:
Skyrim: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Skyrim
Kajiit: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Khajiit_%28Skyrim%29
Studded armor: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Studded_Armor_%28Skyrim%29

On to the pictures!

The Dragonborn looking bad-ass

And if she had a sword, this is the sash she'd put it in

I used craft fur, fake suede, scrapbook paper, jewelry findings, and fabric paint.

Astrid says "May you always find warm sands."

Thank you!  She's a Hujoo Freya (available on junkyspot.com) and I did her faceup, too.

She looks great!  The Skyrim map backdrop is a nice touch to the photos.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

Aww she's adorable! I don't know much about gaming (though my roommate is a big fan of Skyrim hahaa) but I like this doll =) I'm wondering, how did you attach the faux fur to the fabric?

The fur is actually from a roll of trim I bought.  I hot glued the suede to the fur (yeah, I got lazy) and it closes in the back with a snap.
