I bought this leather without thinking about its thickness when you put 2 pieces together.
I realised it once I cut it and wanted to sew them!
But then I remembered my mom had an old lady which works without electricity and could help me and she did,she sewed this leather without any trouble.

I cut a faux leather belt to make the shoulder strap and lined the bag with a pattern cotton fabric.

Love this!  Leather is one of the things on my list to get over my fear of sewing, but I haven't quite gotten there yet. I like the simple design of your bag, too.

Thanks.
A simple shape is perfect for leather because you can't put a lot of layers together.

when I move to a bigger place I'm sooo getting an old trundle machine. They just don't make sewing machines like they used to, my expensive electric singer would break under the pressure of all that leather.
