Here's the Feejee Mermaid I made for Cackle in the Sideshow Swap.  Stumpwork on felt for arms and fins, with upholstery fabric for the scales on the body.  Head padded with felt.   Based on a Pygmy Marmoset.  She holds artificial pearls.

I am blown away too! Smiley When I first saw FeeJee in the shrine swap I just gasped. I wanted to give you a million compliments but I didn't want to hijack the swap. Smiley FeeJee is the most amazing embroidery piece I have ever seen.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Learning to stitch, my arse! You were born to stitch! Every one of your embroideries are spectacular and I think they are all my favourite.

Thank you!  Smiley  There's a lot of technique I need to refine, but I'm practicing during almost all my spare moments, devoting huge amounts of time to it.  Not sure where it will lead eventually.....
